Maybe they “knew” what to expect when important people fly in inclement weather who have to trust “allies” to guide them in and that “accidents” just “seem” to happen.

Whatever else one thinks of Putin, he’s a smart guy. Probably not inclined to pressure his pilots to push the limits. Lots of famous people die that way,,,,,

You know flying in Siberia, especially above the Arctic circle is bad. We do it well, but Alaska is littered with crash sites.

Inexplicably, Putin used the weather diversion as yet another opportunity to take off his shirt...

lol,, you know, maybe he decided fishing in late summer would be more fun than visiting a conference at a mine somewhere above the Arctic circle.

You whats really sad? Putin has far moee in common with the average American, than Obama does.
Willing to smoke up the muslims, Check.

Christian, check.

Stopped gays from parding in Moscow, check.

Forbade the building of any new mosques in Moscow, check.

Supports a gold backed currency, check.

Pushing hard for oil and gas production and mining at home, check.

Practices Judo instead of wincing like a girl when he watches Judo, check.

Sad times we are living in. November,,,, our counter-revolution begins.

Putin is a responsible leader and acts like one. He isn’t interested in any other country’s welfare other than that of Russia. he is a nationalistic patriot of his country, not some brainless hippie.

Also, with Russia being in pieces, he and his people do not have the luxury of throwing the economy away, drugging kids on Ritalin, or catering to a thirteen percent minority that threatens to riot if they don’t get what they want from the working majority.

Simple, the US hasn’t exsperienced the REAL results of Communism. And there were the threats of riots and bloodshed if Obama wasn’t elected. And at the time the US wasn’t experiencing the collapse Russia has been. The countries in the Eastern Bloc and Asia have tough leaders because the people expect their leaders to enforce stability and securty and look after the interests of the countries and let the people make their livings.

If African Americans were to move to China and threaten to riot over perceived racism, the government would respond by moving in and arresting and shooting the thugs, not catering to them. If Jesse wanted to extort money from a Chinese company, Jesse would be arrested and hanged. Rightly. Over there, they don’t play around with cirminals. They deal with them the way they deserve and don’t care about PR or ‘sensitivity.’

Preaching to the choir, my friend. I’m an immigrant from a former socialist/communist controlled country. I remember very well how that worked.

Solid contrast between Putin and ZERO.

There are many of us who feel the same way—thank God Putin is where he is and in control.

At this point, the US is running in circles and it’s going to take a lot of time for the US to get back to superpower status. REAL superpower status. Commnusim and socialism are policies that cause countries to run in circles, while not accomplishing anything. It’s an enabling policy, not a sustaining one.

Yeah, well they do that same thing to Christians, or any other religious group, especially ones that demand things like free speech, freedom of association, free trade, civil rights, etc.

America has taken on a world of hurt by - theoretically - refusing to be totalitarian. But what makes it worth it, is the absolute horror that results in other countries not doing so.

Hell, Mussolini made the trains run on time. So what?

I am just so SICK of them threatening riots, chaos, shootings, etc. when they might not get their way. I am FED UP with living in fear of these maniacs who encourage the butchery of babies. The Chinese might be totalitarian, but with this, I am more than happy with the thought of importing it. this isn’t about free speech, these maniacs are threatening to destroy this country.

In the past we wuold have heard about these people being arrested for saying stuff like this, but they aren’t. Why did we become cowards to a thirteen percent minority?

In Russia and China, rioting thugs are killed.

Here, try to kill them when they invade your property and YOU go to jail.

Agree 100%!

To add to your list:
- At Davos he warned against Nationalization of things stating, WE know that does not work well.
- Regarding Kosovo independence, he remarked it set back the area 300 years.

I must say, I find far more to admire about Putin than Obama.

Mussolini made the trains run on time. So what?

An Urban Myth.

He didn't change how the trains were run.

He had the schedules reprinted to show how they actually ran.
