Time's Mark Halperin: 9/11 Families Need to Be Led Through a Discussion About the Ground Zero
NewsBusters ^ | 8/23/10 | Matt Hadro

Posted on 08/23/2010 2:35:53 PM PDT by Nachum

Time magazine's Mark Halperin engaged in the ultimate condescension Monday morning, arguing that families of 9/11 victims need to be guided by others into the Ground Zero mosque debate."For the families of the victims of 9/11, whatever emotions they want to have, I respect and I honor. But somebody needs to lead them through a discussion," Time's senior political analyst lectured on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." He mentioned a meeting that reportedly took place between the mosque's planners and the 9/11 families, which he insisted "needs to happen."

How about “whatever faith Muslims have, I respect and honor. But someone needs to lead them in a discussion about what 9/11 means.”

Halperin = Islamic Terrorist

Pandering to Islamic Terrorists is evil...especially forcing the victims of Islamic Terrorism to do so

Mark Halperin needs to be led through a total understanding of NO Sharia Law in the US - EVER.

The new GZ Mosque is was to be a center of Sharia.

I can think of better items than a wet fish.

How can this arrogant idiot not recognize his condescending smug assumption that he has a better understanding of the politics of Islam than the family members of those murdered?

Isn’t anyone in his circle of fools smart enough to sell him a clue?

It is time to start Freeping these media libtards.

In other words, the 9/11 families need to be “re-educated.”

I can’t imagine the amount of rage and frustration the families and friends of 9/11 must be feeling with this drivel and daily slap in the face!

A faithful Cleric of the radical Islam that guided those who killed your loved ones wants to build a triumphant Mosque at the location where they died and the progressives want you to kiss the Cleric’s butt.

The 9/11 families ought to surround Halperin’s house and have a ‘guided’ discussion with him.

Remember the 2004 election when Halperin worked for ABC and sent an e-mail to his staff that they should report lies by George Bush's campaign staff but that they could ignore lies by Kerry's staff?

Mark Halperin is one of the most dishonest, unethical people in a field known for dishonest, unethical people.

Mark Halperin ought to read us the Sharia Law out loud for the U.S. to hear, on radio, on TV, on the internet, or whatever else, and let us all hear about what Islam thinks regarding infidels, or what was the revealed word of their prophet concerning how to deal with homosexuals. Let’s see how the U.S. populace would react, I don’t think it would be good. Tell us, Mr. Halperin, what Islam condones, so that we can better understand what is going on. We’re more than bigots here, the U.S. should be aware of what really goes on in the European ghettos, the U.S. should know the truth of what could happen should Europe not wake up: They will be what’s left to try and adopt the values o Western Civilization (Democracy, Capitalism, and the Ideology of Natural Rights).

They must be reminded that the government knows where they live and where their loved ones are. (Maybe that’s why Nancy Pelosi thinks they need to be investigated.)

I wonder if Mark would have a different opinion if he or a family member had been on a upper floor of one of the WTC towers and had to make the decision to jump or burn?

Better idea: let's lead Imam Rauf through a constructive discussion about his beliefs, confronting him with every taqiyya statement he's made, contrast that with the facts, and then make every liberal watch it over and over until they can say “Islam is bad.”

I wonder if Mr. Halperin has ever heard the audio tapes of Cantor Fitzgerald employees trapped on the 104th floor of the North Tower calling their families to tell them “goodbye” before the building imploded. This was a purposeful act of terror committed in the name of Allah. **** you, Halperin. I once worked in that building and ate lunch with those people, down on Liberty Street at noon, you America-hating son of a bitch.

Mark Halperin needs to be led to the cemetaries where the victims are laid to rest.

Mark Halperin needs to a refresher course in history.

This is the one thing that the Marxists are true experts in, “re-education”. As Freeper LS points out in a thread today about college, the “Residential Life” part of modern US colleges and universities is nearly 100% political indoctrination of the swarm and overwhelm the target kind.

“Led through a discussion” — that is the model. To be sure William Ayers-type Leftist educators are not the only ones involved in that kind of social mind-work. It is also used in Amway and other multi-level marketing schemes. But the Leftists have MASTERED it.

That tactic, or rather that suite of related tactics of mind-control, masterfully employed, is why the left today holds academia and there is a “Professional Left” class to use the Robert Gibbs’ term.

Bernie Madoff developed a counter-strike tactic, but there must be others.

The class discussion was the worst single change in the classroom in the last 50 years, because it encourages shared ignorance. Of course it “presumes” students have read and understood the material-—which is precisely why the teacher exists, to help them understand the material. So inevitably any class discussion devolves into “feelings,” how people emotionally react to reading x, y, or z. Then you’re on the libs’ field.

That’s a great insight, LS.

Can you share more with us?

Then Let’s form into our discussion groups and discuss it among ourselves, and remember to reach a group consensus!
