Obama spent his career in the professional left, never doing a normal day’s work in his life.

It would seem that Robert Gibbs broke the first rule of the Professional Left, which is, you do not talk about the Professional Left.

Well what is this secret thing? It’s a network of people who have are gainfully employed in negotiating, finding funding for and advancing the Leftist agenda. It’s not just a cause, it’s a job. “There is a class of people with radical leftist views who have made it their job – with the help of abundant grants, foundations, and trusts – to carry out propaganda campaigns, indoctrinate, subvert, and plant the seeds of the leftist worldview in people’s minds through the arts, media, education, blogging, and street protests. For many it’s the only income they’ve had in years.”

(quote)Take Wikileaks. Although it styles itself as a rag-tag organization, Wikileaks funds itself through a system that is professionally designed to cover its tracks, sources of funding and modes of direction. The Wall Street Journal says “the controversial website WikiLeaks, which argues the cause of openness in leaking classified or confidential documents, has set up an elaborate global financial network to protect a big secret of its own—its funding.” Using methods familiar to sharp operators and money launderers, they’ve set up shell organizations in juristidictions which prohibit disclosure; created levels of cutouts and cultivated unnamed private donors. Although the media describes Wikileaks as an idealistic, whistle-blowing organization it has the form, if not the function, of a criminal organization.(/quote)

All anyone had to do to understand this was to read his resume before he was elected. A worthless piece of crap. But then, just seeing who he associates with was an even better indicator.

Just amazing. I still have difficulty believing our country could elect someone like him. Never thought it would happen.

That's not true. 0bama scooped ice cream for a few weeks in the summer of '75.

OK, I am assuming it was a few weeks but he was employed by a Baskin Robbins in Honolulu in '75. Although he didn't get a SS number until '79 which is kind of a mystery.

But he worked at Baskin-Robbins in Hawaii! Doesn’t that qualify him to be president?

If I recall the story correctly, he said he gave his friends free ice cream.

Giving his friends what does not belong to him sums up his recent work history, too.

A very interesting piece, and thanks for posting.

The disdain for peons who ‘cling to guns and religion’ or who watch the NASCAR races is not based not an appeal to ideology, but class.

Very much so. It is also an indication of how profoundly insecure the professional Left really is. These are not, broadly speaking, religious zealots, they are operators, convinced that the world holds nothing deeper than that and terrified to consider that it might. The religious zealots of the Left they hold in as complete a contempt as those of the Right.

The disquiet created by the information revolution stems from the fact that it has allowed the “amateurs” to briefly glimpse the professionals at work, perhaps for the first time in their lives.

One of the principal objectives of those involved in a conspiracy is to mock those who suspect as paranoid. When one owns most of the media it is an easy task. When one used to own most of the media but does no longer due to a change in the nature of the media themselves, the principal objective becomes to re-establish control, which is one reason talk radio and an uncontrolled Internet have taken on the role of class enemies.

The Left has become, to put it bluntly, no more than an attempt to re-establish aristocracy with new proprietors, no more and no less. Marx feared and denied it. Lenin celebrated it. The contemporary Left lives it. And what they fear the most is what their own ideological model attempted to describe: that the amateurs are going to start cutting heads off.

But it did. McPain was going to lose no matter what, since the left wing media and the democrats had beat relentlessly on W for eight years there was no way any republican short of Ronnie had a chance in 2008.

He beat Hillary, raised and spent a lot of money, and threw every and any body that could hurt him under the bus.

But he is a lie. Take his book Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance and look at the cover. The implication is that his father is white. Not true. It is his agenda not his intelligence that is in question.

“Follow the money”: an old line from the FBI. The left are reeling in cash. They buy their loyalties. They don’t give money away to the poor. They take expensive trips, vacations and salaries. They don’t give it away to the needy. They are the pigs in Animal Farm. They don’t fund anything that isn’t ideological. They are the elite. And then there is us.

Sheesh! I wouldn't doubt that. Redistributing his employer's profits.

Theft is theft even if you give it the prestige of government sanction.
Progressives are looters.

Communists only work at gunpoint. This explains the entire history of the Communists... both the leaders and the workers.
