After her sterling public image took on some tarnish from her recent vacation to Spain, the White House announced that first lady Michelle Obama will appear with Laura Bush for Sept. 11 observances in Pennsylvania. The deft public relations move by the administration will place the two popular first ladies side-by-side for the first time since the 2008 inauguration. (Snip) An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll after the Spain trip found just 50 percent of Americans had a positive opinion of the first lady, down 14 percent from the same poll in April.

It is amazing that the demonrats have looked to Bush twice this month to salvage their sinking ship. First the lefty columnists who begged GWB to back the Ground Zero Mosque, and now Michelle Antoinette is tagging along with Laura Bush in a “deft” (more like desperate) move.
Hey, Michelle, take a lesson at Mrs. Bush’s style of dress and manners. You might learn to comport yourself with dignity instead of reminding people of the She-Hulk priming for a fight!

In other news, the First Lady will take time out from her hectic vacation schedule to attend a September 11th observance. Former First Lady Laura Bush has graciously consented to take Mrs. Obama on a tour of the White House.

Laura Bush was an excellent First Lady, but her statements recently, regarding her support of gay marriage and abortion, are extremely troubling.

The Bush’s should tell them to go BACK to Hell.
She has nothing to gain by appearing with Michelle, but Michelle has a lot to gain from standing beside Laura – like borrowing some of her class and dignity – though I doubt even then Michelle would ever develop her own, and show any class or dignity.
The Bushes don't owe anything to these people, not after the way they have been criticized by Obama and the liberals, who for all intents and purposes still explicitly blame George Bush for any and all bad news that comes down the pike, rather than take responsibility for the failure of their own policies of destruction.
Allow me to offer Mrs. Obama these words of advice:

Is the timing of Michelle’s vacation in Spain and her taqiyya talkin’ husbands tacit approval of Rauf’s Victory Mosque symbolic?
Maybe Laura Bush is doing this for America. I don't know why the press is spinning it/slanting it that she's doing it as a favor for MO.
