That’s a good point. I think many folks here would be surprised at how to most young people gay marriage is no big deal, and strong opposition to it by the party could brand them the way opposition to abortion did. I am NOT saying I approve of this, merely observing what appears to be an inevitable truth—that gay marriage may be stopped for now, but I think its day is coming, and the gay rights bunch will move on to the next thing they’ll be bitching about.

That is an unfortunate, inevitable truth. Most kids are trained in public schools, and have been indoctrinated to believe homosexual relationships are natural and wholesome.

This doesn’t seem to extend to homosexual SEX, mind you, which the high-schoolers I listen to still seem repulsed by. But they simply have divorced the sex acts from the idea of “love”. Easy to sell that to kids.

It’s been a good fight, but I don’t see how we will win it in 20 years. A generation is rising that doesn’t understand marriage, or morality, in the way we do.

No not really.  Lying, cheating, drug abuse, and general immoral behavior are more widespread today than in the 70's - the last time the Marxists FAILED to pull off their little revolution.

And regarding the economy - evidently many young people didn't think it any big deal to lie about their income on Liar Loan mortgage applications....

How's that working out again?

It's only wrong if you get caught, right?
