When Scott Hardy hits the road, he always makes sure to leave room in his suitcase for his stuffed animal.
That's right, the 34-year-old businessman always travels with Barkley, a stuffed beagle. No, it's not for his two daughters. No he doesn't sleep with a nightlight and no he isn't smuggling drugs.
Seven years ago Hardy's then girlfriend, now wife, gave him the doggie as a reminder of her.
"I travel enough that it's a nice reminder of home," said Hardy who runs an online legal notice company, Top Class Actions.

What? Are we a bunch of whimps?
That would be the “GenXers”, right?
I hug a pillow-does that count?
Sure. The big stuffed gorilla helps out when you want to drive in the HOV lane.
Sometimes my young daughter has put a stuffed animal in my bag “to keep me company” when I am on a trip. But I don’t sleep with it.
Seriously, I have my doubts about the accuracy of the statistic... but then I do with anything the MSM says.
Does a hearse driver get to use the HOV lane?
Not unless they count headphones as a stuffed animal.
Calling BS on this futher effort to feminize American men.

Do members of the mob sleep with stuffed horse heads in bed?
I travel with a stuffed squirrel because my daughter puts it in my bag. It gives us something to talk about when I call home, and she gets to hear about squirrely adventures when I get home.
You got a problem with that?
“I hug a pillow-does that count?”
As long as the men in your life aren’t biting the pillow . .
Ya. If by stuffed animal you mean porno.
That answers that.

True love can take many forms. In this case, it has taken the form of a Korean man falling in love with, and eventually marrying, a large pillow with a picture of a woman on it.
Lee Jin-gyu fell for his 'dakimakura' - a kind of large, huggable pillow from Japan, often with a picture of a popular anime character printed on the side.
In Lee's case, his beloved pillow has an image of Fate Testarossa, from the 'magical girl' anime series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha.
Now the 28-year-old otaku (a Japanese term that roughly translates to somewhere between 'obsessive' and 'nerd') has wed the pillow in a special ceremony, after fitting it out with a wedding dress for the service in front of a local priest. Their nuptials were eagerly chronicled by the local media.
'He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere,' said one friend.

ABC has to be basing the stats on in-house sampling.
I call BS. There is that “1-in-4” nonesense again.
and from a women's point of view I would never give my man a stuffed animal to remind him of me....that is just so middle school and secondly I would not want to date much less marry a guy that travels and sleeps with a stuffed animal.....IMO it is just weird
Charles?
Obama travels with a stuffed animal? Does she approve of the description?
BULLSHIT...
I don’t believe this.
This statistical data provided by Jack Horner, of the Pulling Plums With Our Thumbs Out From Pies Research Corp.
What a crock!
I don’t believe a word of it.

100% of these men are also Obama voters.
Yes, and they’re all democrats.
Is that Michelle at Panama City Beach?
aw c’mon...my husband is a fierce naval aviator (now retired) and former United Airline pilot and he ALWAYS took a stuffed animal along with him that one of our three kids would give to him to remind him of us wherever he was. I know it never left his suitcase/flight bag but it made us smile at home thinking he had us along with him on the ride. Kinda like when he took “Flat Stanley” along with him in the cockpit, and my daughter later shared photos of that in her kindergarten class. I’m hoping these statistics are maybe due to other loving dads/husbands who might roll their eyes at their wives & kids but still stow the stuffed animal in their gear. That makes our husbands/dads all the more dear to us at home!
Yes, but the cars in the procession following the hearse need the gorilla if single occupied. Sun glasses, a hat, and a big cigar for the stuffed gorilla will help as well.

Scott Hardy
So you say.
“gave him the doggie as a reminder of her.”
She has got to be a real dog.
Yeah...I do...why don't you put a GI Joe in your bag and talk to her about all the brave American's that are guarding her from the president of the US and all his mooslim buddies from trying to kill her Daddy and her....?????

I'm sure if fits nicely in his suitcase...right on top of his frickin' Meryl Streep movie collection!
I notice he also takes "Barkley" on the annual "Guys" trip. I bet the boys have a FABULOUS time.
I spend 100 nights a year in hotels. If I brought a stuffed animal, I'd have to leave the vodka at home.
I think Scott Hardy is looking for PUBLICITY!

It's one thing everybody remembers about the show.

It was a case of "Furry Vengeance" indeed.
One of my “grown men” acquaitances travels with a zipped backed teddy bear too.He is a twisted individual. Inside teddy is a Colt Officers model .35 cal semi auto pistol and two mags. Now how twisted is that? He must have had a very strange childhood.
I have been known to stuff a little teddy bear in my husband’s luggage when he goes off on a trip.....but, he doesn’t SLEEP with it.....sheesh....
