Obviously Rubio has this in the bag, with no real challengers, but we might as well have results threads for the important races.
http://enight.elections.myflorida.com/
this is where the MSM gets their info.
cut out the middleman.
for later
That’s the URL I posted (just a level deeper to that specific race).
Wish they had something similar for AZ which the MSM all but called it for McNasty.
Thanks for starting the thread!!
Volusia County here. I voted @ 10:50am est. I was the 58th voter.
Shhh. Freeper Davidosborne might hear you and begin around long-winded post about what a great candidate "Dr. Bill Escoffery III" is and how "RINO Rubio" is quaking in his boots over the guy's candidacy.
If he didn’t start all that Rubio RINO crap, I may have at least had a little respect for the guy for doing something, but BS douchbaggery is a major turn off.
Watching....
Scott leading McCollum in early returns....
my bad I was thinking live thread for all FL races.
the polls have not closed in the west. ?
no returns posted.
the official website shows zero until the west closes.
also watching
bttt
State rep. Sandy Adams leading the House 24 (Kosmas) primary over Karen Diebel and Craig Miller, but maybe her district is reporting first.
Daniel Webster leading FL-8 (Grayson)
People in west Florida are still voting, remember?
this is the one I'll be watching -
If West gets in and gets to Washington - we will have the best rep in DC we've seen in many decades - he will make waves - he's NOT an establishment republican and he bows down to NO PRESSURE.
He knows the Constitution by heart - he knows EXACTLY who our enemy is (watch the clip "answers a Marine" - he does not suffer fools gladly - and he'd “walk through hell with a gasoline can” to protect this country.
Lt Col Allen West - WE NEED HIM! Let's make sure he gets in in NOV. WE may not be able to vote for him - but we can support him.

Yeah I know what you mean. I had a similar reaction to some of Todd Tiahrt's more 'passionate' supporters in the Kansas U.S. Senate race, and I say that as someone who supported Tiahrt myself! He's been an excellent congressman, but the tactics of some his loudest supporters in attacking Jerry Moran as "McCain style RINO scum" was beyond the pale and a real turnoff. Some of it embarrassed me to be in Tiahrt's camp! There was no need to use scrotched earth tactics against a Congressman with a 90% conservative record (who has gone to bat for us numerous times when McCain wouldn't) to distort his views and constantly insult the man.
We had a disasterous outcome when similar tactics were used in a congressional primary between Jim Oberweis vs. Chris Lauzen in 2008. Oberweis' camp resorted to really over-the-top mugslinging and tarred a solidly conservative state Senator as a George Ryan crony when the opposite was true. Oberweis' constant shreading of a fellow conservative won him the nomination, but at a terrible price that drove up his negatives massively and handed the seat to the RATs in the fall after the GOP has discimated each other.
As for Marco Rubio, I must admit I'm a little cautious about him and wary about his record on immigration. It doesn't help that some of his most ardent fans here who proclaimed his a "true conservative" from the moment he announced were saying the exact same things about Mel Martinez six years ago.
But this "Dr. Bill Escoffery III" that's been touted as an alternative choice is a non-starter. The guy's been a citizen of four different countries, married three times... wayyyyyy too much baggage and certainly no credibility as an unknown statewide candidate. And yes, I'm getting tired of his "supporters" insisting that Marco Rubio is a Mark Kirk style socialist scumbag.
After Dr. Escoffery gets his 2%, I wonder if his fan club will give it a rest and halt the "RINO Rubio" stuff until it's been proven. Maybe they should read up on "RINO" Chris Christie's record since taking office, to see why it's wrong to smear candidates without evidence.
Post #7 LOLOL - got that right.
Do you want me to shut down the internet until 8:00?
I voted for O’Donoghue for dist 8 but I’ll take Webster all day long. And, he’s got the moola behind him and a stellar reputation.
Scott over McCollum and Meek over Greene in early returns. Liberals on MSLSD in a tizzy.
Thanks for that link! That is very convenient for those of us without cable or satellite. :~)
If those early returns are early and absentee voters it doesn’t matter much in the Governor’s race. A couple of weeks ago Scott WAS ahead.
bump for later
The republican voters definitely seem motivated, look at the vast difference in vote totals.
When do absentee and early voting ballots get counted? does it vary by State?
I’m watching to see how well Rubio does in Miami dade and palm beach, i want to see to what extent he can pull of dem latino voters from the Dems.
I live in his district!! Voted for him today!!
What’s the feeling on Attorney General leader Pam Bondi? Looks like Palin endorsed her.
Rubio declared winner of Rep senate Primary
Alex Sink declared winner of Dem Gov primary.
Close race, between scott and Mcollum, Scott is 14,000 ahead at present.
Early voting gets counted along with today’s votes.
Absentee varies by county..
Here is the status...
http://enight.elections.myflorida.com/CountyStatusPage.aspx
Yeah Scott winning 46-43%. I don’t get how the media and quite a bit of Florida Freeopers were stating McCollum was up in the polls. McCollum is a freaking RINO. Glad he is getting beat.
Allen Boyd has a narrow lead in the Dem FL-2 House primary. If he loses, the seat goes GOP easily.
I voted for Bondi at the last minute. so far she’s in the lead.
Right Scott was and is ahead, despite what some BS polls and people parroting that bad info. Scott is in it to win it and McCollum can go on the unemployment lines.
Scott is approximately 21,000 ahead now, and its expanding by the minute, lets see if he can maintain the stretch.
Meek declared winner of Democrat Senate primary
Absentee varies by county...
Thank you, I have never quite understood how it works.
Enter Senator Rubio!
We need this man in the pipeline.
Palin/West - 8 yrs
West/? - 8 yrs
by that time, the most vile and evil of today's leaders and their cause and their influence will be cold stone dead -
Meeks just made Charlie boys game harder to win.
Bondi is a great choice!
bump for later
Now 23,000 lead over McCollum~!
Boyd 51, Lawson 49 - 42% in
Meek clobbered Greene causing angst in the Liberal News Media. Crist is their Great White Hope to beat Rubio and a Greene win over the Black Meek would supposedly help the Skunk..Crist. New Darling of the conniving Liberal News Operatives.
So the question is: with Scott leading in early returns, have the early/absentee votes already been incorporated into the totals? Polls a few weeks ago showed Scott in the lead. If a disproportionate part of those early votes have been tallied, then McCollum still has hope.
