Posted on 08/25/2010 11:32:21 AM PDT by Red in Blue PA

I did not see eiither of them posted and could not imagine how these do not qualify as breaking news!

I just got out of the shower. What happened?

Dunno. But I think it has something to do with pancakes or mooses ... or maybe a beeber. Stuning, I know.

Breaking news is something that would cause even ESPN to break coverage of whatever was on air and talk about when it’s not sports.

Oh, I see. Something that's so big it makes you want to slap your mama. Like what's there right now.

If I were running the place, breaking news would be as I said about ESPN... as far as I'm concerned, what's considered "breaking news" is given a rather liberal definition around here.

The Rasmussen daily poll results have been posted twice prior to yours already. Just beacuse you titled it diferently doesn’t make the news any different

It’s you.

Only because it’s you.

If anyone else but you had posted these threads, they would have been “Breaking” for a week, with permanent insertion (in red) into the top banner.

But it’s you.

So they aren’t.

And they never will be.

Just because of you.

If you Super-Glue a Lego piece to your finger, it really does stick. And it is extremely difficult to remove it.

I'm just trying to save you some trouble, in case you doubt the instructions on things, like I do sometimes.

Oh, and you know where it says on the gas pumps "Not be be ingested?" of "For external use only?"

Yeah, that one's pretty much true as well.

I did it, my fault.

I printed them both out and didn't hit save afterwards.

Apparently this removes threads from Free Republic.

I'm going to buy more paper and experiment a bit, this may be hugh...

You haven’t learned that my posts on vanity threads aren’t supposed to make any sense? ;-)

They’re trying to tell you to FReepmail the mods with a question of this nature instead of opening a thread.

But a fun thread it this! You’re a nice guy though, so I hope you don’t get the ZOT.

I hear a lot of girls find this beeber stuning:

him and some sort of sparkly vampire or something. I don't bother keeping track of these things; I find my sanity is better preserved when I don't.

Now what's all this fuss over Rasmussen breaking some sort of news to a waiter at a mosque?

as far as I'm concerned, what's considered "breaking news" is given a rather liberal definition around here.

I've posted 3,875 articles and not one did I put in "Breaking News", most of what I post are editorials anyway and go in "News/Activism".

The truly "Breaking News" articles get posted at least a dozen times before I could even get started.

Not if you start posting pointless vanities.

I think today’s story about Michelle Obama’s “cleansing” fetish would qualify.
