Political ad of the day (Barney Frank)
American Thinker ^ | August 25, 2010 | Thomas Lifson

Posted on 08/25/2010 12:21:17 PM PDT by jazusamo

Congressional Democrats are staring into an abyss in November. Few deserve defeat more than Barney Frank, whose fingerprints are all over the subprime mortgage crisis. Yet Frank's district, comprising Boston's Back Bay and adjacent neighborhoods, is one of the most liberal in America. Voters there returned him to Congress even after the revelation that his live-in boyfriend was running a gay escort service out of his apartment. A subsequent boyfriend was a senior executive at Fannie Mae in the period during which Frank vigorously defended Fannie, while pushing banks to lend more to uncreditworthy home buyers.

Could Frank be defeated in a wave election? It looks very much as if he could, based on Frank's own behavior. Check out this ad from his opponent. Sean Bielat:

We need a Constitutional amendment making it possible for 2/3 of the states to expel states such as MA. They are a cancer in the body politic.

Seeing Bawney sent packing would be wonderful.

It would be a great day if Bawney Fwank were swept from office. For Congress, it would certainly be “addition by subtraction.”

But I doubt it will happen. Voters in most districts are getting exactly what they want in their Congressman, and Bawney is what his constituents want. (Ewwww.....)

That’s a fantastic ad! Barney is as low as it gets, and that’s low. It’s downlow, as a matter of fact.

You really have to be careful what words you use when talking about Barney Frank...

His recent statements re: Fannie and Freddie tells me he is actually worried about losing his seat this time around.

The double entendre didn't escape me.

Laugh it up, toots, but without us, there would be no such thing as the USA.

A couple of facts re: Barney's district:

It does not include the Back Bay as that is part of Boston which is split between Steve Lynch or Mike Capuanno.

It does have some very liberal areas (Brookline, Newton) but also has some towns to the south where Scott Brown won 70-30 in January. I don't know the final figures, but Brown may have actually carried the district then.

Barney may be vulnerable, but at this point I don't see either GOP candidate (Brielat or Earl Sholley making much of an impact.)

From the article:

A subsequent boyfriend was a senior executive at Fannie Mae in the period during which Frank vigorously defended Fannie, while pushing banks to lend more to uncreditworthy home buyers.

Boyfriends come, and then subsequent boyfriends come. Something about Barney keeps them coming.

FWIW, Scott Brown carried Bwaney Fwank’s congressional district. It may be in play.

Hell, Herb Moses was more than just Barney's boyfriend. From a 12-year-old Washington Post Magazine article:

He is still amused by the "spouse pin" issue. Congress distributes these pins for parking and other amenities, and Herb Moses had one. But "a bunch of right-wingers" demanded that Gingrich rescind the perk for Moses. Ultimately, Congress issued him a "domestic partner" card instead. "Herb may have the only domestic partner card. And his will expire in three weeks."

More on this relationship at the source.

That’s good to be an actual one minute spot to run on TV (just enough time left over for the “I approve this message” disclaimer that must appear). The candidate should do that if he has the funding - blanket the airwaves with that clip.

Key to success against RAT traitors is to expose their dirt and their treasonous voting record arrogantly cast against the will of the American people like DeathCare.
