Hillary's scientific acumen somewhat lacking (No surprise here)
One News Now ^ | 8/26/2010 | Bill Bumpas

A global-warming skeptic is reacting harshly to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's linkage of the devastating floods in Pakistan to alleged man-made climate change.

In an interview with Pakistan's Dawn TV, Clinton recently claimed "there is a linkage" between natural disasters like the flooding in Pakistan and climate change. She argued that "you can't point to any particular disaster and say 'it was caused by...' but we are changing the climate of the world. We've seen that with the Russian forest fires." The latter is a reference to the fires that were sparked following a severe drought.

Marc Morano, executive editor of ClimateDepot.com, thinks it is "very sad to hear the level of scientific acumen coming from a secretary of state."

Marc Morano (GOP EPW)"Her scientific thinking is no more advanced than the Aztecs who ordered the slaughter of people to end a drought in 1450," he contends. "Her scientific thinking is no more advanced than witch trials during the little ice age where they blamed witches for the crop failures. Her scientific thinking is no more advanced than the readings of Nostradamus or the Mayan calendar."

Morano believes Clinton's comments are an insult to everyone's intelligence. "She's literally saying that our SUVs are weather machines," he explains. "That is climate astrology; that is not science. That should not be coming out of the mouths of anyone in our government."

Hillary, in my opinion, has always been a nincompoop, a liar, a profane -itch, a one-woman woman, and to have a piece of debris like this as SOS is blasphemy AND an SOS!

Good, it past time we start attacking Hillary, otherwise she might just ride to the rescue of Obama after he dumps Biden.

Ever since she referred to Mary and Joseph as being ‘homeless’ I have never put much credence in anything she has said.

the witch will likely be our next president after the one runs the economy into total ruin.

ignorance has no discernible depth.

there will be more users than producers by 2012. every one of them looking for a new savior.

she will be there to deliver, especially in the absence of a viable alternate.

You already know that Evita will say/do/believe ANYTHING to get/keep her mug in front of a camera.

That any ‘educated’ adult would adopt a to-date, groundless and increasingly ridiculous faux science masquerading as proved and verifiable fact just to conform to an even more spurious and sham political platform is beyond me!

Politicians and other officials do these things with impunity because ‘accountability’, as a concept and as a personal attainment, has been purged from American education and from our national character.

Say good bye to EVER again seeing public figures, etc. who know the difference between actual, verifiable and immutable FACTS and blabbing whatever they want on ANY subject with the summary expectation that Americans are too stupid to challenge them.

What passes for academic rigor and intellectual accomplishment in this country is laughable.

Hillary is where she is because she took a gamble by hitching her wagon to an up and coming politician. Her qualifications for national level leadership are about equal to the guy who plays president on tv. They are both followers of Saul Alinsky with no real world experience in business or actual leadership. Had the media been halfway honest, these two clowns wouldn’t be anywhere near real leadership positions. But here we are.

I’ve never understood the “intelligence” conceded to the Clintons, even by the Right.

Neither one strikes me as that intelligent, let alone the MUCH more important “wise”.

And Honesty, isn’t even on the map.

Skillful deceit is often mistaken for intelligence.

“Skillful deceit is often mistaken for intelligence.”

####

In the aurate words of someone from his own party:

“He’s an exceptionally good liar”.

Personally, I never saw even that. His fabrications were always oily, transparent and puerile.

“I did not inhale.”

Oh come freaking on, Goofus.

"...Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's linkage of the devastating floods in Pakistan to alleged man-made climate change."

Perhaps Hillary mistook this for the linkage between Billy Jeff smiling and the incidence of stained blue dresses.

Hillary comes out from under a rock and makes these obsolete political comments.

It sure won’t help get her elected. We can use them against her.

I’ve maintained since the trailer trash lesbian got launched into the senate supposedly representing New Yarkansas that she was an imbecilic marxist.

Both the Clintons are equally despicable. Having him sticking his Pinocchio nose into matters of state and having his wife running State is so sickening that it’s difficult to describe the degree of pissed-offedness!

I've never understood why Bill was considered such as masterful pol. He ran against the bored, patrician, "read my lips," voodoo economics, GHW Bush and only won because of Perot and one of the more corrupt special prosecutors of all time. The was re-elected against Bob "I'm only a Republican because I'm from Kansas" Dole, who ran one of the most inept campaigns in history, who named Jack Kemp as veep candidate and still couldn't generate any enthusiasm - even from Kemp, and still needed Perot to tilt the election.

Admittedly, if the press fulfilled even a modicum of its mission, Clinton would have been history. A great pol? Try mediocre.

As far as intelligence, I give Bill more credit than Hill, other than his matrimonial instincts. He is sorta slick. She, on the other hand, is pretty average. Well, maybe that's an insult to the 50% of the populace who's below average.
