Skip to comments.Beck 'On Crack, Taking Stupid Pills' Say Mika, Joe

When Joe Scarborough wondered out loud "how many times can you set your hair on fire?" before viewers stop being shocked, you might have thought he was talking about Keith Olbermann, the man whose scenery-chewing soliloquies inspired an instant-classic Saturday Night Live skit.
But no, Joe was speaking of Glenn Beck. Perhaps the shot Scarborough took at Ed Schultz a couple weeks ago exhausted his monthly quota of internecine MSNBC insults.
On today's Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski and Joe took turns ripping Beck's promotion of the rally at the Lincoln Memorial he's staging Saturday on the anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. Riffing off a Colbert Show segment showing clips of Beck, Mika claimed he sounded like a drama student "on crack." Scarborough, suggesting Mika might have gone too far, surmised Beck might merely have taken "stupid pills."

Mika, Joe say Beck “on crack, taking stupid pills” ping to Today show list.
I remember when Joe Scarborough used to believe in America (I think).
I bet all three viewers were nodding their heads in agreement.
What’s really funny is that liberals believe that these are convincing arguments for their point of view.
I have a bad feeling that Beck’s 8/28 rally is going to get disrupted.
I frankly wouldn’t attend because he is too wishy-washy for me. But I hope nothing happens
Was that before or after the dead intern?
Scarborough couldn’t fill up a phone booth if he was to try to assemble a rally.
Every one of Beck’s critics go after his techniques, not his message, because his message (returning to our country’s foundation) cannot be attacked.
They’re just jealous that Beck actually has viewers.
The Progressive Movement! Yep, exactly
I don’t think Beck ever had a female employee die in his office, joe.
Mika, Joe are perfectly emulating Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals....attack, ridicule Beck yet are oblivious to his message.
Well if it does get disrupted, maybe it won't turn out wishy-washy and you'll be sorry you missed it! Bravehearts come in handy sometimes.
Those libs are scared spitless that the stranglehole they have on the Blacks in this country by keeping them in the victim class is going to be erroded. If Beck and Alvida show that MLK wasn’t the hate filled antagonist that the libs portray the Blacks might start to realize that the content of Character thing was really true.
That was “BM” = Before Mika.
I have no need to know his ramblings.
There is something ‘unexplained’ about Scarborough.
An earlier post claiming Beck is “wishy washy” makes no sense. He’s been consistantly delivering the same message for 2+ years. “Trust in God”, “Question with boldness”, “Stand up for your principles” etc. He quotes from our founders, the bible and truly does love this country.
“Restoring Honor” is a theme that makes it difficult for an America hating progressive to smear so they came up with the MLK angle. There could be trouble, no doubt. But I’m going with my wife and 13 year old daughter because it’s important to distinguish the patriots from the kool aid drinking socialists. This will glaringly show the difference.
