President Barack Obama dismissed a recent poll showing that a third of Americans don’t know he’s a Christian – and blamed an online campaign of misinformation by his conservative enemies for perpetuating the myth that he’s a Muslim.
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” Obama told NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, sitting under a tent in a rain-soaked New Orleans, where he commemorated the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
“The facts are the facts. We went through some of this during the campaign — there is a mechanism, a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly,” said a visibly annoyed Obama, referring to “birthers,” who have waged a guerilla campaign questioning the validity of his Hawaiian birth certificate.
“I will always put my money on the American people, and I’m not going to be worried too much about what rumors are floating around there.”
A stunning 18 percent of Americans identify Obama as Muslim, according to a Pew poll released earlier this month. Only a third identified Obama, who speaks passionately about his faith in his autobiography, as Christian.

By sharia law, obama is a muslim because his father was one. This is how you tell if he is muslim or not. If he is as claimed a christian, then by sharia law he is an apostate, and the punishment for that is death. Since there is not one cleric issuing fatwas for his death, then that would imply that he is not an apostate

All you have to do is act, think and talk like an American but since you are incapable of doing this I guess plastering your birth certificate on your forehead is the only way to go. Please show us and then you can move on with your life. However, as long as you continue lying, evading and hiding your true identity, you will have to continue hiding your birth certificate. Wait a minute. Who said anything about a birth certificate? Your religion isn't identified on your birth certificate.
Unless of course he is the son of Satan. The father of lies begets liars. Obama's words bear witness to his character (hence religion - all lies all the time), providing ample evidence for his origin of birth.
Interesting that the One equates the birth certificate with a sign on his forehead. Rather peculiar, but not for the mocker on the lookout for Armageddon, cracks opening in the earth, etc.
