Sen. Tom Coburn: Newt Gingrich 'last person I'd vote for'
Politico ^ | 08/30/2010 | Andy Barr

Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) is pouring cold water on the idea of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich running for president.

“He's the last person I'd vote for for president of the United States,” Coburn said during a town hall event in Wagoner, Okla., over the weekend, as was reported by the Tulsa World.

In explaining why he wouldn't support Gingrich, Coburn specifically targeted the ex-speaker’s three marriages as proof that Gingrich “doesn't know anything about commitment to marriage.”

“His life indicates he does not have a commitment to the character traits necessary to be a great president,” said Coburn, who also noted that Gingrich is a “super-smart man.”

Dr. Coburn, you ought to run.

Gingrich plays inside baseball. Throwing the game is part of his style.

Having read Coburn’s book, I know that Newt is the last man that the good doctor would vote for

Ouch, that'll leave a mark! That plus his fanny sitting on the couch with Nancy

I like Newt as a pundit, speaker, analyst. He will never be president.

Newt may have the brains but he lacks the true conservative positions we are looking for in a leader who wants to restore America. The couch thing with pelosi sealed the deal with me....

Newt’s marriages are the least relevant fact. Newt sided with Nancy Pelosi on the myth of man-made global warming and our need for increased government regulation/solutions.

Man is not changing the climate and man would have to really focus efforts to offset the effects that are caused by sunspot activity.

Limiting my freedoms and liberty to benefit socialist dictatorships around the world with “carbon credit offsets” is a crackpot idea.

Gingrich sided with the dems on global warming, and in NY-23. Some sins simply cannot be forgiven.

"“He's the last person I'd vote for for president of the United States,” Coburn said during a town hall event in Wagoner, Okla."

So he'd vote for Obortion's re-election before he's vote for Gingrich?

Apparently having 3 wives is worse than destroying personal liberty and free enterprise.

Is this the same Coburn, who like every other senator and house member, doesn’t have the balls to ask the current poser in chief to prove himself?

Coburn, you have alot of nerve judging ANYBODY running for President you a-hole!

“obama’s Selective Service System registration, 61-1125539-1 was verified by entering his last name, DOB: Aug. 4, 1961, and Social Security number 042-68-4425, a number issued in Connecticut between 1976 and 1979 to an individual born in 1890”

This evidence indicates the felonious use of someone else’s social security number. More than that it leads one to ask questions about the truths of the obama version of his past. However, there is more evidence! As either a state or u.s. senator, this man used an entirely different Social Security number—282-90-XXXX!!!

Secondly,

“The former Honolulu elections clerk [Tim Adams] who says President Obama was “definitely” not born in Hawaii and has no birth certificate from any hospital in the Aloha State says he’s willing to testify in court to those facts.

“The things I’ve said, I don’t mind testifying in court,” Tim Adams, the senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in the 2008 campaign, said in an exclusive interview.

This shocking revelation completely debunks official hawaiin statements.

Coburn, you still have an oath you are sworn to uphold.

Newt is unelectable. He is better suited to a cabinet position.

His personal life isn’t good enough reason to reject Newt.

His POLITICAL life, however, is more than enough reason.

ANYONE supporting NEWT knows full well he is pro amnesty, pro global warming and just another two faced GOP hack. And if you don’t know, you better wake up and figure it out.

Newt’s little photo op with his good friend Nancy pelosi was in extremely bad taste if not criminal. Perhaps even a capitol offense?
