I just thought people here would be interested to know, for the next time that anybody tries to denigrate FR as being a "fringe" site.

Not to rain on anyone’s parade, but seriously; how hard is it to be more popular than MSNBC?
To: PapaBear3625
I suspect that FReeper surf FR longer in a day than MSNBC readers surf MSNBC in a day.

MSNBC.com had 5,224,538, down 16.9% (2,002,914 unique visitors). Looks to this country boy like someone's emptying out the insane asylums just in time for the inmates to vote in the fall elections.

I wonder how many site hits FR has vs MSDNC’s viewers in a given hour. I bet it’s numbers that MSDNC would rather not know.

That’s great news - if we can counter even 1/2 of what MSNBC reports, we’ve done our job.
Hello all you lurkers! There’s a button on FR to donate - if 1/2 of you would send one dollar a month think of all the great things we could do!!!
We should also say a quick thank you to Keith - giving “Jim Thompson” a worst person award was great free advertising.
