Last week, establishment Republicans worked against Scott.

This week is different. Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, head of the Republican Governors Association, is now backing Scott. He endorsed Scott’s opponent, Bill Mccollum in the Republican primary election.

"Everyone knows we want business-people moving into this state, expanding businesses in this state and opening their businesses in this state,” Scott told the heavily Hispanic crowd inside the Jorge Mas Canosa Youth Center.

No matter how bad you may think Scott is, he’s not worse than having a liberal Democrat in the Statehouse.

How is it going to look for a republican governor to go to jail from the Florida statehouse? Are you delirious? What a great campaign issue for the democrats the next time around! What is the matter with you guys? Scott is NO CONSERVATIVE, nor is he a great guy! I am so upset. I can still not vote for him. I’ll not vote for anyone for the governor before I’ll vote for Scott. The democrat’s “tea party” fooled the republicans into thinking they had a real “tea party’ candidate in Scott. That, in spite of copious articles about “tea party-like” groups in FL that were really democratic fronts. What a joke on FL republicans!

He’s not my first choice but I’m not voting for a liberal Democrat no matter what. I don’t think Scott will end up oin jail but that would still be better than Sink. Depending on who succeeds him, it might be better than Scott.
