Young Women Now Paid More than Young Men, Feminists Cheer Wage Supremacy
The Spearhead ^ | September 1 2010 | Welmer

Posted on 09/01/2010 10:04:21 AM PDT by Christian Cage

Belinda Luscomb, writing for feminist mouthpiece Time Magazine, exposes the fact that young women make more than young men in virtually all big cities in the United States.

The triumphalism so clearly on display in the article shows the feminist claim that all they want is “equality” for the bald-faced lie that it is. No, they want supremacy, and they have demonstrated time and again that they will use the state to achieve it. In fact, it is through government interference that young women have gained the upper hand over men. Not only do public schools favor female learning styles, guaranteeing that there will be more women in college than men, affirmative action and mandated “equality” grants and government contracting rules ensure that women are well-represented in highly-paid jobs that were previously majority male. In the meanwhile, predominantly male jobs that women do not care for are eliminated or have seen wages depressed by an influx of illegal labor, aided and abetted by government negligence. Additionally, private sector pay has declined or stagnated while public sector pay has gone on to all-time highs as women come to dominate the taxpayer-funded jobs.

Essentially, the US has a two-tier system of socialism for female employees and unregulated capitalism for men, putting male employees at a huge disadvantage. The question this raises is where will the money to keep this system operating come from as men are squeezed into poverty and can no longer afford the onerous tax burden that places women in a position of supremacy?

Keep in mind up to 80% of the unemployed are men. AA is pure discrimination against men. Notice that none of the so-called media conservatives (Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin) ever bring this issue up.

Once again, “more” equates to “equality” in the leftist mind. What the hell is wrong with people?

In core Democrat communities, a large percentage of the men are incarcerated or have criminal records, dramatically lowering the earning stats for that group.

I am sure now the feminists will fight for men to receive the same wages as women. Wouldn’t want to be utter hypocrites, right NOW gals (unequal wages are great only when women are paid more)?

Families pull together. In a family w/close ties, gender-assigned roles aren’t applicable in all situations. My family retained what is functional, and discarded that which is not. I thank the Creator every day for my beautiful family.

80% of the unemployed are men? I don’t think that can be right. Maybe 80% of the increase in numbers unemployed or such. Do you have a source?

So many well-paying manufacturing jobs have left our shores that our economy is now service-based, and services jobs are typically filled by women. So the men are unemployed.

It really sucks. We don’t make anything anymore, men can’t support their families and the women end up working rather than taking care of their kids.

Actually, all I want is for people to stop calling Sarah Palin an ‘ignorant slut’ and Hillary a ‘shrew’ and a ‘b*tch’ because I want my daughter to believe that one day she could be vice president or president no matter the political party she decides to be a part of. It doesn’t have to happen for her, she just needs to believe it could happen.

Oh, and I don’t want her to be the victim of a vicious sexual assault (again) either.

But then these things require a level of personal responsibility and cannot really be legislated or regulated to ‘not happen.’

Too much to ask?

There is no such thing as equal pay, too many variables to consider. Comparable and fair is fine with me.

(How’s that for taking an oversimplified characterization and putting it in real context?)

If women are now paid more than men, it is because employers are only hiring people who will work for the most rock-bottom wages. Everyone else can go to hell in a handbasket.

The real bitter clingers in this picture are the rapacious CEO class, top shareholders, the lobbyists and the Congresspersons continuing to receive huge payouts while the young graduates, middle-aged family-supporters and pre-retirees are being shoved out of the middle class.

Feminism has outlived it usefulness (as all effective social movements eventually do).

Our culture views women as sexual objects now more than ever before. If a young girl doesn’t put out (or at least give a Lewinsky), she is considered a prude and gets no attention from boys, which the culture tells girls is of utmost importance.

All that has done is help young men get laid a lot more.

And the strong push for abortion rights has led to a world with less women. Chinese and Indian parents abort their daughters in hopes of having a son.

Like the Civil Rights movement, Feminism was important. But both movements achieved their objectives, and have spent the last two decades conjuring things up.

Today’s version of feminism benefits men more than women.

My guess is that the fact that women are paid more on average has nothing to do with the fact that they are women and everything to do with what jobs are open, who wants them, how long they have worked, how productive they are, etc. Same situation when men made more.

Same with every other minority.

You want more money, be worth more. Or become an investment banker or politician. Then you can steal it.

What the hell is wrong with people?

The answer is in the question, grasshopper.
Fallen world, deceived people.

Feminism is just another one of the enemy's spearheads
in the destruction of the family.

“You want more money, be worth more. Or become an investment banker or politician. Then you can steal it.”

Or demand the government impose “comparable” wage standards or AA actions. In my company, the senior executives get bonus points (bucks) for mentoring women, but no such points if they choose to mentor men. . . .guess who are being mentored in my company and who are being shoved aside. . .skills and ability ignored.

Okay. However, you do know when discussions about wage involve the phrase “comparable,” that opens a whole new aspect to the discussion, as in “comparable worth.”

I see you were not referring to that odious idea.

It really sucks. We don’t make anything anymore, men can’t support their families and the women end up working rather than taking care of their kids.

And, the generation raised by careless mothers and daycare, and disgruntled dads, are unlikely to value woman like those of us raised by super-moms.

So the next generation of men will have adapted to the new order. Visit a ghetto to see what this looks like. Men who view woman exclusively as providers: of sex, housing, vehicles, money, progeny and prestige. And if these things are not given voluntarily, they are taken.

The feminists didn't really think through what the Brave New World they are constructing would look like. I doubt they will like it much.

The deck sholdn’t be stacked against or in favor of either men or women. If a woman has completed 12 years of med school and residency, she should make every bit as much as her male counterpart. Not more, but every bit as much. And vice versa.

this is just nonsense...

...the traditional strongholds of male employment that paid high wages and great benefits have slowly diminished....the steel and aluminum workers, the construction workers, the autoworkers, the car salesmen, the miners, etc....

at the same time, teaching and nursing have been more in demand, and yes, women are still the dominant group in teaching, and well past dominant in nursing...

and add to the fact that many women go right on to medical school or law school....

the job market has changed....

and besides, if women get paid more than men...notice they mention "young" women and men....than it probably means that the wage base has decreased significantly...
