You should shoud try to avoid texting teeny-boppers while on a *motorcycle*.
It’s more “excitement” than I really need.
Hold the round button down for 3 seconds and the Voice Command screen will come up. Then just tell it either "call" a contact or "dial" a number.
It also works for calling up songs and artists in your Ipod app.
Not sure why any parent allows their teen to have a cell phone and drive. Glad they were not around when my sons were teenagers. I know it must be difficult to say no, but their lives and the lives of others are more important than their wants.
A-men!
I’m not coming down for or against this, but do you really think more people are kidnapped than are involved in accidents because someone was texting while driving?
Part of the problem is that I never see police driving around giving tickets for reckless driving. It’s easier to sit on the side of the road and run radar, I guess.
I just gave it a try, and it worked very well.
I worded my response “that I know of” hoping someone would lead me out of the darkness. Heh heh heh...
Thank you so much.
Hope all is going great for you.

Reading thru this thread I think I spot a lot of texting while driving drivers!
I never ever get on the Apple threads but I have to say I love my Iphone. It's the coolest thing ever.
Do you have Shazam on yours?
I have SoundHound on mine. I am not an avid music lover, but it functions beautifully.
It listens to music, then gives you the title. Then it provides links. On one you can go to You-Tube so you can watch a video. If you wish you can listen to a sound file. Then it will also take you to a site where you can purchase the song or album it is on. You can also check out album art.
Don’t tell, but I’m somewhat of a Taylor Swift fan. I generally like 1980s music, but there are definite interests in every decade since Sinatra, with emphasis on the 60s and 80s.
We watch American Idol each year and I download some songs each week from there.
I’m not looking forward to the show without Simon.
Hey! I just had to pull back on the road to respond to this...
;^)
That can be both a blessing and a curse as it makes it so darned easy to 99 cent yourself into some serious money if you're a music lover like we are. LOL
Have fun.
Oh you technophiles!
;^)
Have a great holiday weeked.
I shorted you an “n”.
Here >>>> “n”
I was going to have a weeked, it sounded fun! :) You be careful out there.
no but a woman was able to call for help with her cell phone when she was locked in a trunk of a car.
Actually, SoundHound has a link direct to iTunes also.
I just tried it to make sure.
Yes, I was surprised how fast those $0.99 cent fees turned into real money.
I like to get the video of the song if I like it. If I like it more than that, I get the extended audio version also. Those are $1.49.
I think they made a bundle off of me last year. I have each of the Lambert songs.
Yes, in a slightly twisted way, I think I agree. Har.
Thanks. Take care.
That’s nice, but I suspect if you compare stats for people injured or killed from cell phone misuse in a car to people saved by cell phones in a car the numbers will be vastly in favor of people not using them. As I stated before I am of mixed opinion on this, but I don’t think the few people saved compared to the large number harmed helps your case.
