Gaddafi: Europe will 'turn black' unless EU pays Libya 4bn a year
The Telegraph ^ | 8/31/2010 | Nick Squires in Rome

Col Muammar Gaddafi has warned that Europe runs the risk of turning "black" unless the EU pays Libya at least €5 billion (£4.1 billion) a year to block the arrival of illegal immigrants from Africa.

Muammar Gaddafi returns to Tripoli after his controversial visit to Italy

His remarks, made during a controversial three day visit to Italy, were condemned as "unacceptable blackmail" by Italian MPs, who likened the demand to the protection money that mafia gangs demand from businesses.

Speaking at a ceremony in Rome while standing next to Silvio Berlusconi, Italy's prime minister, Col Gaddafi, 67, said that unless his request for money was met, Europe would otherwise become "another Africa" as a result of the "advance of millions of immigrants".

"Tomorrow Europe might no longer be European and even black as there are millions who want to come in," he said.

"We don't know if Europe will remain an advanced and united continent or if it will be destroyed, as happened with the barbarian invasions".

Tens of thousands of desperate African refugees and economic migrants have reached Italian soil by boat from the North African coast, although the influx has been stemmed by the Libyan navy in the last year under an accord with the Berlusconi government.

An MP from the opposition Italy of Values party, Silvana Mura, accused the Libyan leader of holding Europe to ransom, demanding mafia-style protection money in return for a promise to safeguard the continent from unchecked immigration.

Another opposition MP, Luigi de Magistris, accused the Libyan regime of keeping tens of thousands of African migrants in "concentration camps" in the desert.

The PC Europeans may enjoy this sort of thing, eh? (Especially if the Blacks are Muslims)

BTW, Mexico is doing the same to the USA.

Well, bless this uniformed lunatic's crazy heart for articulating whats been the third world's unspoken policy for decades now.

I mean, better that the free people of the west make key decisons concerning the future of societies with all the facts on the table.

Seems Gaddafi has forgotten about the bomb that landed close enough to his tent to make him lose bowel control, maybe he’s after an encore.

"BTW, Mexico is doing the same to the USA."

Lots of Mohammedans coming across that border and they're not asylum seekers.

Since he was able to flim-flam the British into releasing the Lockerbie bomber he now thinks any threat he makes will be obeyed. But one never knows, the EU is in such a PC trance they may take him up on the offer.

Actually sounds like a bargain to me.

Maybe we could interest him in our southern border as well.

100+ years ago Japan attempted to export its surplus population to the Pacific coasts, not only of the US, but of Mexico and Peru. They tried, unsuccessfully to do the same with Australia and NZ. These emigrants were to colonize these areas and bring them under the influence of Tokyo.

This effort failed for many reasons. The willing assimilation into the culture of the new countries being prominent. As Europe has abandoned its cultural roots the future is questionable.

Something that most do not recognize is all of Africa is behind this man at the UN. He was voted king of kings by all the despots in Africa. IF he needs to do something at the UN, or Africa wants something he has 83 votes for 83 nations. Now, although he is not black, his Islamic nation is in Africa and his Islamic connections tie the middle east to Africa.

All of Africa? Most f’d up place on the planet with the most incompetent racists going. So if he means flood the place and he wants blackmail cash, screw him. He and they will flood it anyway cuzz they want a better life.

Its really too bad they cant figure out how to tie their own shoes as they could have their own “America” for the bountiful resources. Truly a visionless people, since the beginning of time. But, if you want a genocide? They can cook one up on a moments notice!

For him and his threat? EU would be further ahead investing the same money into tomohawks.

This policy of Japan's is rarely mentioned and was the reason for various & now much maligned anti-immigration laws passed here in the US.

There is always another side to the history the left uses to beat Americans over the head with.

I blame Reagan. He should have authorized a second pass.

Let’s also not forget that the BIG immigration law of 1924 explicitly limited immigration from Southern and Eastern Europe. The Chinese exclusion act and Gentleman’s Agreement with Japan were passed earlier. Interestingly enough, Mexican immigrants were all but allowed free passage over the southern border, with the 1930s being the first time that action was taken against illegals from Mexico (due to the depression).
