I like Wadhams too and in fairness this has been a very weird year for both parties. Who knew Republican voters would be so anti-incumbent even as to Republicans? I thought Buck was leaping too far to go from Weld DA to Senate, but Norton took it on the chops for the sins of Bill Owens. McInnis might be the candidate today if he had stayed bought and endorsed Ali Hasan for Treasurer.
Maes can't possibly win and I hope he realizes that soon and does the right thing.
no- Losio is running for GOVERNOR (!?!!) of all things against Andrew Cuomo, who will spank him hard
Lozer Lazio is the hand-picked RINO of the NY GOP party gool ol boy network (and I suspect wholly-owned subsidiary of the NY Dem party and Sheldon Silver)
Lazio is almost out of money already and he has not even finished the PRIMARY against Paladino, and his supporters are dropping like flies Already 25% of county GOP chairman have SWITCHED THEIR SUPPORT TO PALADINO
that is unheard of in NY state
Jane Norton does make the most sense to me. She has a campaign organization that could be brought back together quickly.
Thanks, I’m happy it made FR. I’ve been following this up close so the article isn’t new. As of this morning, Maes still says he is staying. More is going to come out so the only question is how bad does it have to get before Maes quits?
Norton is poised to get in but remember, she’s part of the same establishment so many people oppose. NObody here knows what’s going to happen which is probably the best outcome. Local talk show hosts all want the credit of foretelling the outcome. Big egos and all that. If Maes actually stays in until the end he will have hurt the entire line of candidates as well as the GOP credibility.
