The Rev. Jesse Jackson found out just how rough things are in Detroit.
Several Detroit media outlets reported thieves stole Jacksons ride a 2009 Cadillac Escalade from a parking lot near the citys Doubletree Hotel.
The SUV was later recovered, but it was found without its rims and one of its windows had been broken, according to Detroits WXYZ-TV.
Jackson was in Detroit for a march and rally called Rebuild America: Jobs, Justice and Peace.
Just days after Jacksons SUV was stolen, one of Detroit Mayor Dave Bings vehicles also went missing. The GMC Yukon Denali was later found resting on bricks, also missing its rims.
Must be racism!
Crime in Detroit? That’s unpossible!
Two words: insurance fraud. Unless he left the keys in the truck, this vehicle is equipped with transponder and is hard to start without the proper chipped key. Not that it cannot be done, it is just hard. Reverend wants a new ride?
Think of it as wealth redistribution, rev.
We need photos of this whip. I’m willing to bet both had some bling-bling $10,000 Dubs on them.
Somehow, this will be Bush’s fault...
Bush did it!
(You knew it was coming.)
That is obviously a crackpot headline. No longer is their “stealing”...there is only “redistribution”. All praise nobama!!!!
If they find out who did it I wonder how quickly Jackson will blame whites for the people who took it.
I could not think of a more deserving scum for this to happen to...after all the man who fights for the poor deserves an escalade...right? Pig!
Great job cleaning up Detroit over the decades, Jesse
“I AM (I AM)) SOME-BODY (SOME-BODY)”
Hey Jessie Were you behind in your payments? Just askin’
Some damn cracker, I’m sure.
Never would’ve happened with a Chevy Volt.
Building demolition and auto theft are the only thriving businesses in Detroit these days...
If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, I know I can steal it.
Just one of the brothers wanting the good life....like Jesse!!!
This is funny.
When they came for the Escalades I said nothing...
