The pot field problem has almost gone away in Colorado. The legal growers supply much higher quality at a lower price, and people don’t have to risk getting crossways with the law. The state was just bragging about the $9 million they made last year in application fees.

"They take over our parks and forests and leave slaves armed to take care of hapless intruders. The crop they grow is neurotoxic, filled with chemicals and poisons they dump on it. And what the hell are we doing about this?"

Not much.

Our local Sheriffs devote most of their time fighting it, instead of native crime that they should be fighting. When those photos were taken about 4 years ago, the Feds told our Sheriff...'It's not our problem'....

Since then, Rep. Greg Walden and other sheriffs fought DHS to do something, now they have forest service police and DEA agents chime in sometimes. Mostly, it's a coalition of county sheriffs pooling their resources.

They aren't making a dent.

This photo is a recent find.

While they squat for months on our lands, I understand the wildlife is decimated ....they'll kill and sometimes eat anything. I've seen the containers of toxic chemicals they use.

But Oregon or Calif would prosecute a US citizen to the hilt if he shot a deer out of season. Or a farmer for using fertilizer or water!

The greatest irony of this entire mess has to be how these local sheriffs MUST enforce Federal drug laws.... but are not allowed to enforce ENDANGERED SPECIES laws, PROPERTY RIGHTS laws, and certainly not IMMIGRATION LAWS!

Where are all the property rights advocates these days? I've noticed a trend this year in the MANY Mexican pot farm raids. It's NOT just 'public' lands any more. They've moved on to private properties. They DESTROY the habitat and trees. Many of these are some of the few lumber companies left in this nation, who now have THEIR property, their crop of trees destroyed, as in the article below. They might complain, file suit against some entity, but no one has listened to lumber people for decades!

They're part of that nasty tea party type rural anti enviro freak cabal, after all.

Sorry are you talking about marijuana here? Because the neurotoxin classification is without any basis that I am aware of. In any case, it seems to me that a significant amount of illegal immigrants are here to escape from the Mexican hell than to turn our country into theirs. Of course, we should still keep them out, not that Barry’s going to do anything about it.
