For nine years after the attacks of Sept. 11, many American Muslims made concerted efforts to build relationships with non-Muslims, to make it clear they abhor terrorism, to educate people about Islam and to participate in interfaith service projects. They took satisfaction in the observations by many scholars that Muslims in America were more successful and assimilated than Muslims in Europe.
Now, many of those same Muslims say that all of those years of work are being rapidly undone by the fierce opposition to a Muslim cultural center near ground zero that has unleashed a torrent of anti-Muslim sentiments and a spate of vandalism. The knifing of a Muslim cab driver in New York City has also alarmed many American Muslims.

Muslims are asking if they will ever belong here.
A malignant cancer never “belongs” in a body. It matters not that cancer cells share some characteristics with healthy cells, or that some of the cancerous cells are not currently invading and destroying vital organs. We know the natural history of this disease, and we know that radical cures are the only hope.

Because they are taught from birth that they are superior to every other culture/society on earth - therefore the sensitivity of others isn’t even on their radar. And of course they are not interested in assimiliation if they think everyone else is so inferior.
Also been told that Americans can be guiltified into rolling over for their whining. And way too many can be.
They merely have to assimilate. America will not assimilate to them.

Where was your outrage when Major Hassan killed his fellow troops on the military base?
Where were you when your fellow muslim shot up the recruiting station in Arkansas.
Where were you when your fellow muslim sought to set off a car bomb in Times Square.
Frankly, you can stop wondering. There are far too many horrific acts by muslims that you couldn’t bring yourself to condemn.
It’s a wonder that they’re still wondering..

Islam is NOT a religion. It is a socio-economic model of government that is highly restrictive, totalitarian, dictatorial, and brutally repressive.
Islam should NOT be viewed, or treated, equally with Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, etc. under our Constitution. None of these true religions seek to dominate their governments or fellow citizens.....unlike Islam.
I chafe every time I hear these slimebags trot out the First Amendment when they whine about Islamic “rights”. Bull. They want to impose Sharia upon the lot of us, and that makes Islam as loathsome to Americans as Nazism, Communism, or any other violence-ridden, blood-soaked, totalitarian form of government.
In short....Islam should be banned in this country.
If a Muslim rejects terrorism and declares that all people have the right to practice their religion in peace then I say welcome. I even say welcome even more if they take up the sword against those who force their religion on others.
