Petraeus Condemns U.S. Church's Plan to Burn Qurans
That one got somewhat contentious.
Write the word “Koran” on a piece of paper and burn that?
Or would the “religion of peace” get their panties in a wad over that, too?
Muslims are never going to like us. Why are we concerned when their ideology dictates our overthrow and conquest?
I’m surprised that our generals even consider political correctness in their quest to defeat the enemy. War, especially, is not the time for worrying what the enemy thinks of us.
The more our free speech insults them, the better. They need insulting and they need to learn that we’ll defend that right at all costs.
Reminds me of the “art” with the Virgin Mary in a urinal or something. Nothing could be done about that.
I don’t need to bur a Koran, but I guess this means if one person out of 350 million Americans burns a Koran, this has to be an international incident???
Because Muslims teh world over are ignorant and intolerant? Just what do they think happens if someone burns a Koran in America??
If this church would simply put a crucifix in a cup of urine, they would be hailed as the leading edge of progress...what stupid sh!t. What are the Muslims going to do, kill 2,800 civilians? Oh, never mind, they did that without any Koran burnings...
Good GOD!
Where are the real MEN in this country?
P.C.= Permanently Corrupted.
I mean this sincerely: Shut up, General.
Petreaeus is just following orders.
Because Muslims teh world over are ignorant and intolerant? Just what do they think happens if someone burns a Koran in America??
Seems like it's free speach, just like burning our Flag. Well, maybe the gross intolerance and threats will wake up a few people.
we are not to blame all Muslims for the numerous unspeakable atrocities committed by a few Muslims.
Those “few” muslims are hundreds of millions and those atrocities are unspeakable to us but supported by God’s commandments to them.
The only moderate muslims are those who really don’t practice their religion. The “few” are all those who follow the teachings in the Koran as the word of God and therefore not to be questioned under penalty of death.
They hate us for our movies. They hate us for our dress styles. They hate us for our freedoms. They hate us for our military. Oh, wait...
Here’s the thing, politicians are falling all over themselves appeasing islam. They are putting it in the same category as Christianity. And Mohammed an equal to Jesus. Well they’re wrong because #1 they’re politicians and #2 Islam, like Mormonism, Jehovah Witness, Scientology, and everyother man-made religion is false. Many followers do not the truth make. The Bible says one thing and these other false religion’s doctrines say another. One is true, they both cannot be. (Choose which one.) Jesus said: “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER BUT BY ME” There is no other way. Therefore the koran is not holy, only GOD is holy, and they are not of GOD. They are political and they are demonic, which is who is behind their power to control people. We need to elect leaders who will not lead us down that road of bowing to the devil and destruction.
“The burning is not only an insult to the holy Quran, but an insult to Islam and Muslims around the world,”
AND BUILDING A VICTORY MOSQUE AT GROUND ZERO IS NOT AN INSULT?
Aren’t our troops already endangered by the Taliban, who are trying to kill them in any way possible in Afghanistan? How could this make it any worse?
Prediction: Soon you will be able to get Koran briquets at the supermarket.
Sorry General, but your Commander-in-Chief is more of a danger to American soldiers than the burning of a book.
And how did that whole “Winning Hearts and Minds” thing work out in Vietnam?
“The burning is not only an insult to the holy Quran, but an insult to Islam and Muslims around the world.”
Well thank you, General Obvious. We’re glad you understand.
General, this is what your priorities need to be:
1) Find the enemy.
2) Fix the enemy.
3) Kill the enemy.
