From Greek God to American Dog
American Thinker ^ | 09/07/10 | Ethel C. Fenig

Posted on 09/07/2010 10:10:58 AM PDT by American Dream 246

How the mighty have fallen! And by his own hand--or mouth--no less.

Deviating from his prepared remarks while speaking in Milwaukee at a union only rally--tickets from union bosses needed for admittance; protestors in free America not tolerated--according to CNN, President Barack Obama (D) whined that he's treated like a dog.

Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they're not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true,

And if you read the prepared remarks posted by the White House , this bit of doggie presidential distemper is strangely omitted. However the dutiful applause is dutifully recorded. This from a man who only two years ago stepped from a stage decorated with faux Greek temple columns--all that was missing were the robes and a halo from other religions--to accept the role of candidate for president of the US of A under the Democratic banner.

Uhm, Barack--and I can call you that, can't I?--I don't know how you treat your dog Bo but most people talk very nicely to their dogs. And take care of them and give them special treats. Considering how you've increased the deficit but want to spend $50 billion more, passed an unpopular and expensive health care bill that most people don't want and divided the country you should thank the American public for treating you so well.

Update:

Bookworm offers further thoughts on dogs:

Americans are nuts about their dogs. Recessions or not, Americans spend about $45 billion annually on their pets. Those pets include dogs, lots of dogs. Dogs who get fed premium food, sleep on the owner's beds and couches, and frequently (whether the dog likes it or not) wear natty clothing. Dogs are cuddled, pampered, played with and praised in American culture. They are our companions and our helpmates. We think well of them.

The Muslim world, however, does not like dogs. To call someone a dog is an insult. Dogs are unclean. Periodically, sharia-mad nations enact laws banning dogs. And, as Earl pointed out, even within our own country, Muslims periodically exhibit hostility to dogs.

Now, I'm not saying Obama is a Muslim. I've repeatedly said that I believe he is not a Muslim. I don't think he's a Christian either, even the kind of weird Christianity you find in Black Liberation Theology. I don't believe Obama worships any God other than himself - and to the extent his religion of self has a distinct doctrine, it meshes harmoniously with Das Kapital.

"Deviating from his prepared remarks..."

" That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true,"

"And if you read the prepared remarks posted by the White House , this bit of doggie presidential distemper is strangely omitted."

-------- When someone repeats something three times, it's a tell that they are lying, or trying to cover for someone else who's lying.

That's not the only TELL I noticed. The other is that last line, where they say "is strangely omitted." Obama said 'that' was not in his prepared remarks, so why the need to say the remark was OMITTED from his prepared speech?

Unless, by OMITTED, the author means AFTER THE FACT.

This guy is so NOT presidential...America is becoming a banana republic with such a dictator as president. In french we say “arrivist” or “roi negre” - the uneducated arrivist who suddenly and in a thug way find himself at the head of a weak country and plays his dictator game - money - stupidity - no class and generally put his own people in slavery and live like..well..a “roi negre”. That’s what we got here - as the leader of the free world. Boy how low have we gone.

Mayo Clinic:
Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they’re superior to others and have little regard for other people’s feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Narcissistic personality disorder is one of several types of personality disorders. Personality disorders are conditions in which people have traits that cause them to feel and behave in socially distressing ways, limiting their ability to function in relationships and in other areas of their life, such as work or school.

Narcissistic personality disorder treatment is centered around psychotherapy.

Symptoms
Narcissistic personality disorder is characterized by dramatic, emotional behavior, in the same category as antisocial and borderline personality disorders.

Narcissistic personality disorder symptoms may include:

*Believing that you’re better than others
*Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness
*Exaggerating your achievements or talents
*Expecting constant praise and admiration
*Believing that you’re special and acting accordingly
*Failing to recognize other people’s emotions and feelings
*Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans
*Taking advantage of others
*Expressing disdain for those you feel are inferior
*Being jealous of others
*Believing that others are jealous of you
*Trouble keeping healthy relationships
*Setting unrealistic goals
*Being easily hurt and rejected
*Having a fragile self-esteem
*Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional

Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence or strong self-esteem, it’s not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence and self-esteem into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal. In contrast, people who have healthy confidence and self-esteem don’t value themselves more than they value others.

That line was for the Muslims

Maybe.

BUT.... one must consider what Obama thinks it is like being a dog. Has he ever had a PET? A pet dog? I've never seen one in pictures of him, or heard of it, nor heard anyone say it was in his 'memoir' book.

So.... As (commie infiltrator with Muslim Childhood) President, he GOT a dog.

Because in the past, getting a dog helped a President stay in office. The democrat politicians believe it's all about "SHOW".

Obama's dog (the only one he's ever had) is kept in an isolated compound, and only pulled out for photo ops. Alone and desolate, no one around to even pay any attention to him.

Feeding time is about the only companionship time he gets.

So... one can see what Obama's reference to being treated 'like a dog' means, and why he wouldn't like it.

He's a Muslim.

It's only an act. He supports the Muslims because they are giving him what he wants. Support.

Vote-wise, vote stealing-wise, financial, and paramilitary.

They allow him to pretend to be Christian, and violate the laws of their religion and their governmental-religious community organizers.... i.e. Sharia Law.

Obama can 'fake' it all, eat pork, lie to the public, in short he has the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS... Everybody's happy. Well.... except us.

The dogs of America need an apology. It is insulting to raise this pompous, race baiting, self proclaimed mongrel, incompetent, professional agitator to the level of a loyal and trusted companion animal. We all know what happens to them if they keep pissing on the rug. Perhaps the agitator in chief might want to choose another analogy.

Is it true? How do you know that?

Assuming you mean the 'isolated compound' part, I am basing it on what we have all witnessed.

While the Obama's were on vacation, after vacation, where do you think the dog was? Sleeping on the Resolute Desk? Do you think the Obama girls feed the dog? I don't think any of us are that gullible.

People who 'get' a dog because they think it 'enhances' their loveability by the public, are the same kind who take up golf even though they can barely play. It's all show. The dog is not part of the family, the dog is a prop.
