I am a liitle worried about winning this election. Obama will rail against the Republican congress on a daily basis, every speech and will blame them for every problem. The media will parrot along and the new wisdom will be that the Republican congress derailed the recovery. I hope the smart guys who will run the house and maybe the senate have a good strategy because cutting spending is going to hurt specific people who will be paraded on the 5 o’clock news nightly. If they don’t cut spending, then there was no point in electing them in the first place. Perhaps 2010 is not about 2010 at all, but about 2012. I feel like my dog is about to catch a car. What will he do with it?

Sorry FRiend. It’s not in the interest of this nation to go energizing the left. By constantly screaming about the coming tsunami and how the left will be overpowered in Nov does nothing to bring that about.......but it just may get enough of the opposition to get off their butts and go to the polls.
Those of us on the right should remain quiet about this and if anything, act as if WE are worried.
If voters on the right NEED to hear that we are GOING to win in order to get to the polls, then we don’t deserve to win.

Don't fret. If Republicans win significantly, the Stock Market will skyrocket and business activity will take off.

Then if the Repubs begin a real Government-cutting program, similar to Christie in NJ, the recovery will soar.

The Republicans should take credit for the recovery. But the media will try to deny them. It's up to the Republicans to keep trumpeting their own successes. In the past, they have been unwilling to do that.

But I suspect Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann, along with Tea Party folks will keep them in the right direction.

Since this is a site that Dems go to which way do we freep?

1. No — to rub the Democrats nose in November

2. Yes — so they tell themselves it is just a bad dream and keep on doing the the things that drive independents away from them.

I know (1) is more satisfying immediately, but (2) could pay off bigger later. Deferred gratification and all that.

Give the Democrats a false sense of hope and vote “Of course. There’s still time.” Politico will make it a headline and be shown what partisan stooges they really are.

I think we could all vote for them if they would impeach Obama first. But that isn’t likely to happen so HELL NO.

Sure. Snowballs in Hell have a chance also. And souls down there are often offered ice water, too. :<)
