I guess they think to fool all those people without jobs, homes or money since they took over.

FAIL.

It’s a good thing that I live in Virginia and that the prevailing winds blow from west to east. Otherwise, the stuff those Dems are smoking would blow into my backyard.

Go directly to your bank and tell them “ my mortgage is paid and I have one hundred thousand dollars in my checking account”. Go to your credit card company and tell them “I do not owe a penny on my account and I have a zillion dollar limit”. Say it over and over and over. See how long it will be till you are carted off in a straight jacket. Methinks it is straight jacket time for the Dems.

They neglect to mention they engineered the collapse to which they are now comparing themselves.

Ah, the democrat Delusional Field Of Dreams.

If you wreck it, they will come. What a joke.

Sorry guys. In the now infamous words of Joe Biden speaking to GWB “look behind you Mr. President, no one is following”

This applies to Mr Hussein Obama in a profound way.

Maybe Gibbs can retire and Dan Rather can take over as press secretary.

” * unemployment was 7.7%. It’s now 9.6%.
* annual inflation was 0.03%. It’s now 1.24%. “

It would appear that Beltway Bob is either unaware or in denial that these are standard measures of the health of the economy.

Other than the fact that unemployment is up and housing starts, consumer confidence and the stock market are all down, the economy is just nifty.

The Democrats took control of Congress at the end of 2006, when the economy was relatively booming. If everything that has happened to the economy in the past four years is Bush’s fault, what the hell have the Democrats been doing in Congress for the past four years?

Quote: “They are counting on their friends in the media to repeat this with a straight face, over and over.”

And they could get away with it when it came to Iraq. The people could not touch Iraq nor could they see it. It simply wasn’t part of their everday reality. But the economy, that is a completely different story that all the glossy fiction in the world is not going to sell.

.I wish the GOP were hammer home the message that 2 years ago the DEMONCRATS HELD THE MAJORITY (Just like now).

I do too. Too many in the GOP are not challenging this distortion. Dems held the majority since Jan 07 and Obama, as a U S Senator, voted for the very budget that he inherited.
And then he tripled the spending and has nothing to show for it. Any CEO would be fired for this.

I’ve said this till I was blue in the face to Obozo supporters

I have too and had difficulty sinking it in until a new approach. I now ask them if they thought Obama inherited the huge budget when he came into office. They all say yes.

I then ask them if they were aware that Obama, himself, voted for passage of that budget and then doubled the spending on his watch. Then they’ll either change the subject or it opens up an opportunity for me to give more details that unmask the distortions.
