Dobbs to Obama: 'Quit Whining and Start Leading'
Newsbusters ^ | September 7, 2010 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 09/07/2010 12:55:59 PM PDT by Rufus2007

It is crunch time for President Barack Obama and Democrats. The writing on the wall suggests the president and his party will suffer severe losses and will ultimately lose control of one, if not two chambers of Congress in November. And this was something Obama addressed in a Labor Day speech in Milwaukee on Sept. 6, but he also complained about how he has been personally treated by his critics, suggesting he has been talked about "like a dog." That was something former CNN anchor and syndicated radio host Lou Dobbs said it was time for Obama to get past.

On the Fox News Channel's Sept. 7 broadcast of "America Live," host Megyn Kelly asked Dobbs about Obama's hypersensitivity and comments about how he is treated by his detractors. According to Dobbs, the president needs to man up and be less concerned about his critics.

It’s too late to expect a guy who was never more than a spineless jellyfish all his life to actually step up to the plate and LEAD.

The two best pictures are of him riding a girls bicycle and him hanging drapes/curtains. This is the first time in my life I am ashamed of my president.

Good advice.

Not really. I think maybe Obama should start playing sub-par golf.

Obama, ‘Man Up’?

Good luck with that. I know squirrels with bigger nuts than Obama’s.

“O” is truly an embarrassment to Americans. Mostly because he is out of his element and seems not to care that it is obvious.

Also, ‘O’ thinks by running around kissing everyone’s a%$, it will camouflage or compensate for his complete lack of ability and knowledge. Wrong.

I don't know who made me more embarrassed, Billy Boy or “O”

I don't know how we are going to resolve this.

Obama is obviously inadequate for the job. It is like hiring a carpenter only to have him say, ‘so what is this hammer thingy you guys keep talking about’?

He really needs to go. ASAP

Let's hope he resigns(medical issues). And my goodness, I hope someone has taken the nuke key away from him.

Our Nation is in a very dangerous place. With this obviously weak man as Pres—ent, we could be attacked at anytime, and I doubt he’d know how to respond other than to suck his thumb.

It does concern me that I’mANutJob takes a measure of this “man” every time he whines and has clearly concluded that there is no risk in defying Obama’s desires regarding Iranian development of nuclear weapons. Does anyone feel safer today than on Jan. 19, 2009? I sure don’t.

This is the first time in my life I am ashamed of my president.
"THAT is a stretch."

I've lived through Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush (1), Clinton, Bush (2), and now the little tin god.

In all that time, I've been angered, disgusted, embarrased, sickened, glad, heartened, proud, and shocked by my president.

But this is the first time that as an American citizen, I've ever been truly ashamed of one.

Here's hoping he is a one termer and leaves as quickly as possible....even at the point of impeachment.

“at this point his puppetmasters have to be taking a seriously hard look at cutting the strings”

What’s both funny and sad is they can’t. If they do, it exposed the left for what it is, Elitist Marxists who are anti-semetic and racist.

If they double down and try to ride it out, he becomes more incompetent in which case the RATS put a doofus in office.

They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Best they can do is try to prop up Obama and pass every Communist policy they can before the Conservatives take over and start purging RINOs.

He won’t stop whining. Leading takes brains and hard work...whining is easy. Besides, the guy is more thin skinned than the Geico caveman.

Hey Logic,
question for you. What kind of President was Kennedy? I was born in 1968 and all my life heard what a great man this was. Never anything other than the gossipy kind of stuff. Was he a good/bad/mediocre president?
Just curious,
Denise

I dont believe he lived long enough to be able to judge his performance as a president. He screwed the pooch on the Bay of Pigs; did well with Kruschev, married a pretty First Lady, had Marily Monroe at his beck and call (and a couple of others as well) and was murdered by persons as yet unknown in Dallas.

But I was a young man at the time, and thought he was "cool".

No accounting for youth, what?

I might also add that youth, in general, are every bit as astute as voters at a young age as they are candidates for a lifetime of marriage to one person.

I rest my case.

:), Thanks. That about sums up what I thought of him anyway. He was at least better than the candidate who I thought was cool in my youth, Clinton. But I was wised up by the next election, didn’t vote for him twice.....

Lou Dobbs is right.

btw, what is Dobbs doing now? The last I heard, Geraldo R. threatened to quit FNC if they dare to hire Dobbs and apparently FNC caved.

". . . Clinton. But I was wised up by the next election, didn’t vote for him twice.....

One thing that can be said - in general - about youth. They may not know much....but they sure as hell learn fast!

And the really successful ones tend not to make the same mistake twice.
