I was wondering the same thing.
A show of defiance in the face of terrorist threats can make a weaker terrorist back down. If the terrorist doesn't back down then he makes a good target and provides proof to everyone in the world that the threats are real and not to be handled as police actions or, worse, appeased the way this administration is doing. The terrorist can be traced back to his roots, his allies found and routed out, and more and better defenses of both our lives and our Constitution can be prepared.
That's more than one, I think, and they are solid. Standing up to terrorism is not only recommended, it is esssential. Now that the burning is on the table, to back off is worse than had it never come up in the first place.
Does anyone have a list of the attacks, where they happened and who was attacked.

You want to send a real message to the terrorists? Take KSM and the rest of his Gitmo buddies to the observation deck of the Empire State Building and throw them off so they can know what it felt like on 9/11. That would make more sense b/c at least it send a clear unmistakeable message to our enemies and might scare some jihadist wannabes off.

Why are they meeting..they are the ones who began all this and the administration has fueled it purposely...if their is blam it si Bo and his crowd...they did not have to take a small church group of 50 and blast it across the country...they are tyring to incite trouble in my opinion....then use it as a reason to enact more laws to protect Muslims....yet allow Christianity to be stomped on , eliminated and pushed to the curb.

Resisting the US-inspired globalized empire (which should never be equated with Americans at large, the overwhelming majority of which have a healthy dose of either active resistance to or else nagging suspicion about its efficacy) can no longer be in terms of a singular ideology embedded in a medieval theology, or an ideologically updated version of it to resist a center-based ‘‘Western’’ empire, or else contingent on spectacular acts of senseless and iconic violence. Resisting that empire requires regional alliances based on crosscurrents of ideas, sentiments, ideologies, and cultures. The worst aspect of Islamic ideology was its persistent reliance on Islamic Law (Shari’ah), the consequences of which for a free and democratic society is simply catastrophic, for it mutates the free and autonomous citizens of a potential republic into the legal subjects of a medieval jurisprudence that no matter how liberally it is interpreted it remains deadly contrary to creation of free and autonomous citizens of a republic. So called “religious leaders” are allegedly making demands the DOJ do something. So it looks like muslims are about to be a new federally protected class. Expect speech and non-violent protests opposing their agenda to dominate the world, to be a federal hate crime.
