EAST UNION TOWNSHIP
A Schuylkill County man who was attacked on his porch escaped by punching through a window, diving through the opening, grabbing a shotgun and firing three times into the floor to scare off his attackers early Monday morning, said state police at Frackville.
Brian Mark Furedi Jr., 21, told police Michael Paul Richards and Zachary J. Johnson followed him to his home at 955 Center St. from Andrew's Bar in the Sheppton section of East Union Township.
When Furedi opened the front door of his enclosed porch, Richards and Johnson "forced their way in attacked him for no reason," police said. Furedi was punched 10 times or more until he broke free, shattered the window and jumped into his house, where he grabbed the shotgun and fired, according to police.
Furedi was taken to Hazelton General Hospital with a broken shoulder, bloody mouth, head contusions and loose teeth.
Police said Richards was arrested and sent to Schuylkill County Prison under aggravated assault charges. An arrest warrant was issued for Johnson, police said.

What did the floor ever do to him?
He shot holes in his floor? That’s going to cost money to fix. It would have cost a lot less to put that lead in the thugs and let the garbage man pick them up.
A few more details on this

Sounds like he’s been watching a lot of action flicks
Obviously needs more range time.
Sounds like the guy was pretty busted up by the time he got to the gun. Maybe he couldn’t take a life but a gun still solved his problem. Rather fix a floor then have blood on his hands perhaps.
Perhaps he will do better when they come back.
If you’re not in by the 5th post, all of the good punchlines are gone, here at FR.....
Fire three times
Into the floor if you want to flee
Twice in the air
Means the answer is no
I seriously doubt that....
