Only a small fraction of them are dead this time too.

Thanks to Obama's excellent health care system.

So how do they determine the meaning of “likely voter”?

As I understand it, they ask questions of the voter, such as "how likely are you to vote..." or "did you vote in the last election" and other questions. Then they estimate how likely it is such a person would vote based on the way respondents ended up voting in previous elections.

You’ll have to copy and paste.

I know. If I had got to your thread early enough, I would have put the link in there for you. I just don't do it after several posts have already been made.

Some lefties even think 0bama was a trojan horse created by right-wing corporate interests. No, I’m not kidding.

Well, I'll have to admit Oboma did wonders for the bankers and wall street brokers. They're the only ones raking in the cash. The rest of America is broke.

Politics is just leaning over and getting your butt kicked, again and again.

I remember Rush warning after the “Republican revolution”, we have to go out there and educate. Because the people will go right back to voting Democrat if they don’t understand our basic principles.

PS That Rolling Stone cover - want to bet the artist still believes it to be true?

The USA Today article also mentions the fact that the percentage of voters who self-identify as Democrats has also been on a steady decline for decades.

Would YOU want to be associated with these people? The welfare queens, homos, drug addicts, felons, illegals, rabid pro-aborts, communists, socialists, muslim terrorists, violent union thugs,.....etc. Name any socially dysfunctional group, and they'll be part of the democrat base.

No doubt some Democrats were voting in Republican Primaries, I keep thinking of a young McCain supporter in 2008, I couldn’t believe he was seriously supporting McCain

I’d also read this as a sign that they are in lock-step and know the damage bruising primaries can cause; they’ll toe the party line (extreme left in “blue” states, “moderate” in “red” states) and prepare for November. Saves money, too.

No one wants this - not even the losers that still identify as liberal Democrat.

Consider this:

The DEMOCRATIC polling firm of Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, a.k.a. Democracy Corps, found that Americans were likely to vote for Republicans over Democrats by a 49%-42% margin. This poll, however, anticipated Democrats outnumbering Republicans by a 36%-33% margin. Just imagine if Republicans showing up to vote in November outnumber Democrats by an 8% margin. Yeah, folks. Wrap your head around an eighteen point victory margin for Republicans. Fourteen senate seats gained. A record-shattering 32 total Senate victories. Twenty-three new Republican senators. Well over 100 House seats gained. Nearing a two-thirds supermajority in the House.

Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee or Sarah Palin in the White House. I don’t give a crap. With a majority that huge, the House isn’t going to waiting around for the president to strike some deal with the minority, like they did under President Bush. Steve King is going to be writing the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, this time, and it’s going to scare Libtard Graham more than anything Steven King ever could hope to write.
