Delaware is not Alaska. O'Donnell cannot win the general election. Castle votes against Obama about half the time. That is much better than the Democrat will do. In addition, Castle can help Republicans gain control of the Senate, which (among other things) would mean Republican control of committees that can investigate the Obama administration's lawlessness.
I'm all for voting for the most fiscally conservative candidate who can win in a general election; but the key is the “can-win-in-a-general-election” part.

I can take Brown. I can take McCain. But, Castle is another matter altogether. Scozzafava territory. With his views on cap-and-tax, gay marriage, illegals and abortion, I regard him not so much a RINO as an enemy of America. I’ll celebrate his defeat, whether in the primary or the general.

Castle voted against the stimulus and ObamaCare, and he can actually win. If he had been in the Senate at the time ObamaCare would have been filibustered and blocked.

Establishment RINOs such as Mike Castle need to be defeated coast to coast, even at the risk of losing the seat to the properly labeled Democrat. I'm sorry we can't retire 100% of them, and I'm sorry we can't get 100% conservatives in both houses of congress. I don't care if we have to replace them with ditch-diggers, janitors, or waitresses, so long as they promise to vote against big government, big taxes, and big socialism.
