This seems to somewhat echo a seminal event in my evolution as a FReeper and in my hatred of the MSM, the Cincinnati Riots of April 2001. There was almost nothing coming out from the national press, despite several days of violent riots with many passersby assaulted, much property damage, etc. All of which was being well-documented by FReepers.

One thing that came to mind about the blackout, is that if we ever do need to know something, the media will not help the tea party. Tea party meaning center/right Americans.

Just had one on the local newsradio in PG county (south east of SE DC). They said (like they often do) that such home invasions are rare out there (in the suburbs). Lots of times they won't put it on the news unless a home occupant gets stabbed or shot.

I actually support the censorship here. I know others will think that’s wrong, but it doesn’t help to have millions of free-loaders seeing others loot and riot, thinking they could also get things for free.
The 1992 or 3 riots escalated way out of proportion due to coverage on the tube. Others were walking away with appliances and big screens, and the minorities were thinking, “Hey, gots to get me some of that.”
Two thirds of the early arrests even then were illegal immigrants. Imagine today what it would be.
Send in armed troops and start shooting. Stop when we have self-deportation.

We need to deport or imprison ALL illegal aliens, including their anchor babies, seal/secure the border, and have an armed response to anyone who attempts to re-enter illegally.
