PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Pennsylvania's Democratic governor says that "wackos" are taking over the Republican Party in Congress.

Gov. Ed Rendell made his observation Wednesday as he introduced Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine at an event in Philadelphia to rally Democrats for the November midterm elections.

Rendell says the GOP "is a party that's slowly but surely being taken over by wackos" who are "obsessed" with President Barack Obama's American citizenship and believe the unemployed refuse to work.

Give us a break! You Democrats have the market cornered on wackos.

We are just incipient wackos. With the perfected Liberal model of ‘Wackoramus Americanus’ before us for so long, we will catch up as soon as we can!! Be patient... it won't be long now!!!

Sarcasm...of course.

wackos spent a few trillion dollars in a year and guarantee the next generation a state of perpetual penury.

from his perspective this is a good thing no doubt.

more guaranteed votes from people that need to be saved by his ilk.

whatever.

This is the mantra & message for the public via the msm....Republicans are extremists, wackos, a bunch of Tea Partiers, etc.
The GOP had better get out there with their own message, or this will take a toll come election day.

Rendell: 'Wackos' are taking over Republican Party

Wackos took over the Dim party in the late '60s and early '70s, and it's only gotten worse since.

Fast Eddie Rendell only makes these type of comments when he senses the Democrats are in trouble.

They must be falling without parachutes for Eddie to make this comment.

wackos" who are "obsessed" with President Barack Obama's American citizenship

Not his citizenship. He could very well be naturalized, or could merely be a 14th amendment "citzen at birth". But those are not the requirement laid out in the Constitution, which I presume Rendall has at least heard of even if he hasn't read it. The Constitution's requirement is to be a Natural Born Citizen. That means citizen parents and born in the US or with one or both parents in the service of the nation, miltary or diplomatic, if born outside of it.

the msm can do what it does and say what they say as long as they can; fact remains that eventually they will end up eating the same dirt as the rest of those tossed out of work due to the policies they shill.

poor people don't buy newspapers and magazines, and generally cancel their cable/dss subscription long before they start to starve.

celestial justice is inevitably coming their way soon enough.

i am all broken up inside about their imminent demise.

Hey Ed!
We’re trying to stop the “whacko” in the White House from undermining the Constitution and destroying America!

We don’t want his takeover of healthcare, energy, banking, student loans, education, and over regulation and taxation of every aspect of life!

My comment isn’t really about the msm.
It’s about the repeated message from now until election day that the dems are going to get out there for people to hear. The Republicans have been weenies or ignorant about the power of the repeated message and haven’t effectively refuted dem’s allegations or gotten their own message out.
They’d better get moving.

So what will it say when the "wackos" have more votes in November than the non-wackos? Gee Eddie, I guess crazy is the new normal.

Between the "Happy Warrior" Tim Kaine, whose recent TV onslaught as the pasted-on sappy smiling face of the American [Dem] Jackass Party, and screeching DNC Chair Howie Dean the his famously demented on-air yelp that spiked his bid for higher office, for little Eddie Rendell to call anyone but his own party's public faces "whacko's" is a twist so rich in irony you could frame a midtown Manhatten skyscraper with it.

Add psychotic iconoclast Alan Greyson, professional-perpetual-denial expert Chucky Rangel, bug-eyed Nazi sympathizer Nancy Pelosi, and scowling, growling pus-bucket Dingy Harry Reid into the equation, and it should be, oh... I don't know, let's say two or three generations before the Damocrats screw up the forced, phony chutzpah to call anyone else "whacko's" again.

Eddie Rendell is a joke, and his party is crashing faster than "Boy George" did when he went to prison and they yanked all the Ecstasy in the knotted baggie stuffed up his nasty crease right before lockdown.

From whence it came, Eddie. Consider the source. LMAO!

“Pennsylvania’s Democratic governor says that “wackos” are taking over the Republican Party in Congress.”

Yeah, as opposed to those paragons of sanity on the left who enjoy killing unborn babies, want to teach homosexuality to little children, have gotten the country so far in debt we’ll NEVER get out, want to hand over the country to our enemies and punish anyone who stands against them. Those wonderful, rational people who want to open our borders, legalize drugs, and make it illegal to buy a friggin’ LIGHT BULB.

Gee, wonder who the “wackos” are here?

Bingo! These days Ed is generally soiling himself over the fact that his buddies in the Obama Administration stunned him by refusing to let him toll I-80. (of course, he had already floated the bonds, and now it looks like Corbett will be the next Governor and will not sign any tax increases to pay them back and fund contracts for his cronies)

I am starting to think that our voter laws should be changed.

We should give every congressional district in the country 1 vote. This way cesspools like Philly, Detroit, NYC and LA to name a few don’t decide elections.

Yes, isn’t it sweet that the dems are so concerned with the state of the republican party. Makes me go “hmm”.

The head of the Dem party here in Michigan expressed concern for us republicans over the pick for LT Gov by the Republican candidate. I don’ really think he has our best interests in mind. Just mind games.
