There was ONLY one time, outside of the passion of the Christ, that there was violence, it was when Jesus, and it is recorded in the NT, CLEANED out the main Jewish Temple.
Jesus was a practicing Jew, and his actions in cleaning out the Temple were against other Jews. He also just turned over the tables of the vendors, and drove out the animals...no record of his being violent against people. In His mock-trial, no witness was able to name one way he violated Jewish law in one iota as well...
Therefore there is no example in the New Testament of Christ or Christians practicing violence, or recommending it, against those of other cultures and religions. That makes zero political violence--in spite of the (very minor) violence of Jesus driving out money-changers from the Temple and the terrible violence of the Romans in the Passion.
Nor should they mind if we burn a quran when we see Bibles burned by louse-infested Islamofascist lunatics.
