No, it is not. If you deliberately provoke them knowing what their nature is, then you are equally responsible for the outcome.
Well you know everything is offensive now a days..It is only RIGHT to offend the RIGHT WAY OF LIFE...Jesus Christ, Christians, Jews, Israel, Morality... What was once bad and evil is now GOOD and very Politically Correct.
Is that your final answer?
I wish it was only “liberals.” We have a society full of conformers who sell out freedom when told to do so in a NY minute. There is always some objective of the elite more important than freedom and truth, you see.
And good conservative Christians, we are learning, are supposed to be “loving” and support authority no matter what orders come down the pike. The new world order Jesus would not say a word against authority; that would be extreme and mean and risky. He would not have upset the people of his day who issued threat of murder and oppression in His Father’s name. In fact, if Jesus was a good Christian, He would have avoided being hung on the cross by denying his own mission and idenity. He caused violence in his non-cooperation and bad words against the established authority, you see. He was not peaceful and obedient like the good Christians of today. It turns out that Jesus was a very bad Christian.
Sorry, I do not agree that the provocateur is as equally responsible for the outcome. More likely, the provocateur shows the true nature of the individual.
He’s just like Fred Phelps, huh? Or does he support the most disgusting free speech so that free speech is protected for all like all the American heros before him have done? How about you? You want the elite selecting what speech is free and what speech is banned? Or are you under the delusion that it will be you who decides? Obama would outlaw your speech just as soon as look at you if you gave him that power.
Those muslims would burn the same Christians without any provocation from the pastor.
I disagree with burning books, but the pastor has proven his point beyond what he could have imagined. Americans are scared someone might get mad at us or hurt us, for us expressing our disdain for something in a non-violent manner.
Which is about 95% of all responses I've seen, read, and heard.

Jesus was such a bad fellow for angering the government and religious authority of his day. He should have shut up like a good Christian about that extremist Messiah stuff and not incited such violence from the religious wackos and the Roman State. Jesus was a very bad Christian if you ask me. He was not for peace and he was a very bad citizen of the world.
Damn, now I have to waste money buying a freakin koran just to burn it on 9/11!!
Wrong analogy. Hornets attack only when provoked. Muslims attack at will for no other reason than someone who disagrees with them exists.
wow... deep...
A church making a public statement of burning the book of satan is something you do not support?
Sorry to burst your bubble, but they're already doing that.....prior to burn a koran day. Oh, and they're also chopping off Christians heads and murdering them any which way they can.
Are you sure it won’t contaminate the food?
sorry, I felt the need to not only repeat your statemnt but to shout it from the mountaintops!
Does them killing us, qualify as a provocation? To show we will not submit via burning their most cherished brain washing tool?... ummm, my head is spinning-—NOT
