Subject: Standards Center guidance: Planned Sept. 11
Quran burning
Colleagues,
As you know, a group known as the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Fla., has announced that it intends to burn copies of the Quran on Sept. 11.
-snip-
Should the event happen on Saturday, the AP will not distribute images or audio that specifically show Qurans being burned, and will not provide detailed text descriptions of the burning.

Don’t upset the hair-trigger touchy angry subhuman savages.
But there’s no problem showing pictures of crucifixes in urine, or Virgin Marys in dung. Ok to offend Christians, they won’t do anything. The Christians aren’t gonna yell and scream death cries. They’ll just pray for you.
Yeah. Go ahead and make more Jesus’s in chocolate. Go ahead and burn bibles. Oh, and ban those “Christmas trees” - they’re really bad.
Wow. I just found numerous AP stories about burning Bibles. I can’t IMAGINE why they have a double standard.
************************
Exactly. Let the AP make itself irrelevant.
YouTube is owned by Google. They will take down that video faster than they would porn, or even something embarrassing to Democrats.

Here is a list of alternative video hosting websites.
Now was learn that AP won't even show or describe a burning Koran.
In what sense can this be called a news organization?
In other news: The AP will release any and all Top Secret records it can get it’s hands on.
Good. Nothing could further illustrate the point that the AP is no real force or power at all than to have 20 million or so hits on the videos online every day.
The arrogant propagandists at the AP act like they are still the exclusive wholesalers of the news.
That is so mid 20th century.
Thank God.
It gives a twist on the NYT phrase - “All the the news that we deem fit to print.” As in Private Enterprise Censorship.
But THIS is OK...

Armed Palestinian women burn Israeli and U.S. flags during a protest against Israels operations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
AP: “If we don’t report it, it’s not happening!”
Right, but you'll take big money to run soft-porn ads won't you, you pious slimeballs.
So they’re going to censor the news?
Isn’t that what they do anyway?
These are the same guys that would sream bloody murder about censorship in any other form.
IMHO, Sharia law, since it advocates putting in place, through violence if necessary, a governmental model that is diametrically opposed to ours, should be outlawed.
There’s freedom of speech and then there’s overthrow of the US government.
They wouldn't show pictures of people burning up or jumping out of the Twin Towers on 9/11, either...
Well! At least we don’t have to worry about the Ass Press spreading the “hate.”
Is there a way that the average person can essentially boycot or otherwise hurt the AP’s bottom line?
Threaten to burn a single Koran... And the world comes to a stop and shudders in fear, leader from the entire world come out against it, ect, ect...
WTH is wrong with this picture? Are we all secretly slaves to the Muslims and don't even know it? Why do we care what a bunch of rag heads living on a pile of sand half way across the world think about us burning their pedophile prophets drug induced ramblings that was probably printed in America by a Christian run company.
