Afghans protest Quran burning plan, torch US flag

KABUL, Afghanistan – Hundreds of angry Afghans burned a U.S. flag and chanted "Death to the Christians" on Thursday to protest plans by a small American church to torch copies of the Muslim holy book on the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

Religious and political leaders across the Muslim world, as well as several U.S. officials, have asked the church to call off the plan, warning it would lead to violence against Americans. Iraq, worried that it will unleash a backlash against all Christians, has beefed up security near churches.

Both Bush and Obama say The Muslim religion is peaceful whole the facts keep piling up they are only saying that enough for people to believe it. all we see of the Muslim faith is death, destruction and threats. Most Muslim countries persecute Christians, far worse than burning a Koran a book of hatred, parts of which moderate Muslims say they don't follow.

The Government under Bush and Obama have had the FBI , Defense Department, and the State Department endorse a Terrorist front group to train their departments and act as the lead spokes group for Moderates. even FOX has accepted CAIR. We let radical Imams into our prisons and to write text for our schools.
We keep asking, “Where are the Moderates”. Some have spoken out but have not been able to influence change and none have gotten close to the position of acceptance of a spokes group as CAIR.

I may not say this right, but agree or disagree with this preacher’s intentions, it will underscore for the world (once again) just how much we are hated by the Muslem faith. I see that as a good reminder, and a necessary glimpse into reality. Not only that, these media images coming from the Middle East will probably force Obama to play his cards and expose a little more how he really feels.
