The media is accidentally revealing that they think Islam is a violent religion by their assertion that this act by a nut job will cause world-wide violence.

A non-violent religion (ie: Quakers) would not get violent over something like this.

Hence - Islam is a violent religion... or so the media is admitting.

By the way, we’re getting over the “being sensitive” stuff.

Yep, we’ve had it up to here with being “sensitive” to those who seek to destroy our culture and society. That includes leftists.

Also, we’re going to be quite a bit less sensitive to the other “perpetually aggrieved” groups in America as well.
And we’re over being afraid of being called bigots because we don’t bend over for you any more.

I like it, tie a turd by a string hanging over the Koran open with a candle burning under it, every time they do something the candle starts burning the string and countdown begins, nah won’t work, we would be taking a lot of dumps, they are always doing some shite..

Time some politicians noted that as well. At least this goofball pastor understands that.

She’s consistent, unlike 0bama and some freepers.

Ann Coulter said the same thing - her article discussed all the many provocations the Muslims have engaged in, not to mention outright bloody attacks, supported this guy’s right to burn the Koran, but then said that she thought it was unkind and that he shouldn’t do it. I agree with her and with Palin.

This is a childish stunt done to glean publicity for his “church” and there are far better, more serious ways of fighting Islam.

Yes, the “sensitive” stuff makes me vomit. We are far too sensitive now and that greatly impedes our ability to make correct decisions.

Why do you do such scummy things? Is cutting that article off where you did supposed to endear people to your position or is it just that the people who follow you and agree with you are such blind, moronic, followers, that they won’t bother to investigate for themselves what the rest of that sentence actually says?

I agree, there is nothing honorable about this.

As per your 2nd sentence. That’s why this is so different than bible-burning.

"Book burning is antithetical to American ideals. People have a constitutional right to burn a Koran if they want to, but doing so is insensitive and an unnecessary provocation – much like building a mosque at Ground Zero."

Rove's right, pissant, that was outright "bastardy" of you.

So what's your point pissant, other than an opportunity for you to post another hit piece about Palin.

Palin is saying nothing different that what I have heard every single conservative pundit and politician say. The Quran burning is stupid.

And your idol Duncan Hunter - he's is saying burn baby burn? I don't think so.

I believe Rushdie lives in New York, so lighten up ;o)
The Koran really is a “Call to War” by Muhammed against all non-believers. People live in terror in Muslim countries (especially the women). Nothing admirable in that book. Mein Kampf comes to mind. The Bible on the other hand is a book of hope and salvation for all of us sad sinners. Muslims who become Christians really know what I am talking about.

I have no problem with burning the Koran - it is an evil book and not holy by any civilized standard. Our soldiers are getting killed over there right now for no really good reason.

Sorry, Sarah, but I disagree with you on this one. Was she against our military burning Bibles? If so, I missed it. I don’t give a rat’s a$$ about the sensitivities of muslims.

Who is saying burn baby burn? No one that I can tell. But not everyone is a Gladys Kravitz wannabe either.

If Palin had come out and said burn away, her cult following here would be telling us what courage she had.

“Palin is saying nothing different that what I have heard every single conservative pundit and politician say. The Quran burning is stupid.”

I think it IS different in that she is not concerning herself - or us - with the threat of violence. This is a far more palatable argument to me. If I had my way I would burn only pocket editions ... while they were still in their pockets. But I think she is right to take a stand on OUR terms, not theirs.
