When it comes to human failings, I always try to be understanding. In fact, readers of my Saturday advice column in the Mail will know that it’s my stock-in-trade. But there are times, I’m afraid, when sympathy fails me and I am left nursing a deep anger which needs putting into words.
Sometimes, even those words fail me. How else to respond to this week’s story of well-educated girls — brought up in decent homes with every privilege — choosing to sell their bodies for a fast buck, not caring how many footballers use them in one week?

I don’t know where you are getting the elementry kids element from. The girls in the article are 21 and 23 respectively.
But the fact of the matter is that young girls realize that they can make a quick buck, for a quick; you get the drift. They can make more in an hour than they can make in a week of working full time.
And it’s not limited to just this; how many girls trade sex for a meal and a movie? If you take cash, that’s illegal. If you do exactly the same thing after dinner and a movie; it’s perfectly legal.
I didn’t make the game, I’m simply pointing out that the game exists and has always existed. This is a game you can neither stop or prevent. When girls think that they are ‘freeing’ themselves, when magazines at the Supermarket have articles entitled “Untamed Va-jay-jay” - well, what do you expect?

I've never indicated anything that is even close to the legal age of conscent, but this is where you are driving the debate. I was referring to another article from Japan, one that listed prices based on age. That link wasn’t allowed on FR though so I just refer to it.
Please read the article, I did; and the article makes no mention of pre-pubscent girls voluntarily selling their bodies. The article asks "Why do young girls, from middle-class families, with an education chose to become sex workers?" (paraphrased).
The context of the story is that these girls are young (implied sexually developed) and are chosing to sell their bodies for fast cash and the chance of meeting 'glamous' people and living the 'Happy Hooker' lifestyle (as in "Pretty Woman") without having to work or study.
Depends on what is being discussed. And I’m not interested in enforcing morality in the entire world, but I’ll darn sure point out actions I deem immoral, and not worry a damn about being “multiculturally insensitive”.
I was talking about Japan and other countries too, and I did say “underage” and “children”.

Never been to Japan, but I'll assume that this is correct. So, my first question is "I know EXACTLY" where my 8-12 yr old grandkids are, who they are with, and what they are doing. Where are their parents?"
A young child does not think of prostitution before puberty, they have no sexual desire nor comprehension of what sex is. This would be something they are coerced into, and this is where a parent should be involved.
Would you know if your 8-12 yr old suddenly had an expensive 'gift' or a cash influx of $200? Or, better phrased "How could you NOT know if your young child suddenly had an expensive gift or a cash infustion?"
