Posted on 09/09/2010 4:30:40 PM PDT by lancer256
I never expected President Barack Obama to be promoting my new book, "Crimes Against Liberty," but that's virtually what's happened with his recent speeches on the economy. It's as if he's determined to validate every premise I assert in "Crimes Against Liberty."
All the elements are there: his thin-skinned narcissism, his deceit, his militant partisanship, his bullying and his dogged adherence to his disastrous policy agenda against all evidence of its failure and against the express will of the American people.
His full-throated class warfare was on clear display. With him, it's always us against them. He praised "Wisconsin's working men and women," that is union members, as if no one else works or contributes to the economy or society.
Expanding on this theme, he paid homage to the middle class -- the people whose taxes "in any form" he promised he would never raise -- before signing the excise tax on tobacco, trying to pass the cap-and-trade bill, shoving through Obamacare and its 14 to 19 new taxes, which will total some half a trillion dollars over the next decade and fall hardest on middle-income groups. A value-added tax is even on the table.

Ohbamma uhjamma,( puke be upon him)
So, to boil it down.. you are doing exactly what Obama is doing? Promoting this book?
Hahaha, he said “dogged”!
David L. writes a great editorial.
After this experience I’m all for a 2 year presidential term.
Home Run Ping!
I bought David’s book Tuesday night and finished it today.
A MUST READ!! He even concludes the book with a post by a freeper! Wish we could figure out who the Freeper was that so inspired Mr. Limbaugh.
Type the quote in a search engine and it will bring you right to it.
Sure. Why not, Gunny? We can't just knee-jerk against him all the time or he's leading us around by the nose.
I tried it, but nothing came up on the first sentence.
I hope he’s right. However, the planned stadium events Obama is hosting in a half-dozen States (free concerts) may get the ignorant to get off their asses “one more time”.
Win one for the Gipper indeed.
What was it?
What is the quote?
Mr HopeyChangey’s Magical Mystery Presidential Good Time Rainbow Road Show is finally breaking down and Obama is being seen as the thin-skinned angry little weasel he really is.
I buy a lot of books by our authors on the right.
But, I have never enjoyed a political book as much as
I am enjoying David Limbaugh’s
“ Crimes Against Liberty. “
It’s hard to imagine a book about Barry’s numerous and
being pleasant reading, but, it is.
Limbaugh’s research is exhaustive and thoroughly documented
and the book flows so well
that it could be described as lyrical.
If the Pulitzer Committee wasn’t so liberal,
Limbaugh would surely be taking home the top prize for Investigative Reporting.
He’s our own Woodward and Bernstein.
My one complaint is that the margins are too narrow.
I underline and scribble so many notes and highlight so many passages to share with others
that the book has become a mess.
The Limbaugh brothers have done their parents and grandfather proud.
I just sent a congratulatory note to FReeper, MWestMom. I wonder if she knows she was quoted in the book.
p.s. I just received my copy of Davids book in the mail a few minutes ago!
Hmmm. Was typing my note as you posted yours....Also sent it to Jim Rob...Wonder if he knew.
Do not forget that those celebrities who endorsed the ONE have lost a substantial chunk of their net worth as well.
MWEST..you are famous now! Thanks so much for your thoughtful post. It goes into FReeper history now!
No amount of telling the kids "don't touch the hot stove" works as effectively as when they do touch it, and get burned. (of course, the trouble is that they voted for the hot stove, and we ALL got burned!)
