The Grudge: Barry Soetoro's Indonesian Expatriate Hell
American Thinker ^ | Sept 10, 2010 | Thomas Lifson

Posted on 09/10/2010 12:45:40 AM PDT by Rashputin

In his most formative years, the boy who became President of the United States was, in other words, subjected to humiliating, demeaning membership in a lower caste and cognizant both of the seemingly undeserved privileges of children born to high-caste expatriates and the grinding poverty of ordinary Indonesians among whom his family lived. That a deep anger and sense of unfairness would develop in such a situation seems more than likely, laying the groundwork for resentment of American power and wealth, and an embrace of anti-colonialist ideologies which undergirded a quest for political revenge, later in life.

It was not a pleasant life Barack Obama endured in Jakarta as the child Barry Soetoro. Regrettably, all Americans are now forced to share some of his pain.

An interesting look at what was probably the reality for little Barry in Indonesia. Yet another factor that would feed his blossoming hatred of America. Along with the psychological father issues, narcissistic self-image, and Islamic example of destroying all who disagree, Barry was well trained to at least try to destroy all he surveyed.

Given recent experience — i.e., Clinton and Obama — the Constitution needs to be amended to bar from any federal office those who grew up in clearly dysfunctional homes.

The founding fathers wrote the natural born citizen requirement for president into the constitution to protect us soecifically from the disaster that we are facing now. This was a very good article and I believe that it is a very likely explanation for what Barry has been doing to the country.

For years now, I have seen in my mind’s eye an image of little Barry as a kid running on the boards overtop of the paths in the slums of Jakarta, although I knew he was supposedly raised by a Muslim step-father (who was supposedly himself an oil executive). As someone not born in Indonesia, supposedly, attending a Muslim school when he supposedly was not one would have made him the odd boy out.

His supposed mother was reported to have worked among the indigenous populations. I wonder where exactly she would have worked when in Indonesia. I can see little Barry tagging along. Or being one of the boys she worked with.

Who knows.

I am reminded of “The Year of Living Dangerously”: “All is clouded by smoke and desire.”

I try and try to understand who Obama really is. I don't believe he was born in this country. I'm starting to believe that he's not half-white.

If you really look at him and look at any kid that's half-white, you see absolutely no resemblance. And supposedly, he's part Arab, which he probably is, which would make his features much less negroid and his skin tone much lighter.

He acts as someone from a foreign country transplanted here and suffering an identity crisis, with little contact with Americans. He even seems like he's acting out the role of a black American when speaking to black Americans, as if that culture is somewhat foreign to him.

Praise the Lord. It’s you, expat. I have missed you. You were and are a voice crying in the the Wilderness about this mess, with perspective and insight few know.

Thank you for posting to me. I used to read you in 2007-2008 every time you posted.

This article goes nicely with Dinesh D'Souza's article on Obama and the dreams from his father:

Could Barack’s mother have done a worse job as a mother? It’s hard to see how. Life to her was a constant attempt to make political and social statements. Her child was just another such statement, a finger in the eye of traditional America. A communist mother, an African socialist father, an Indonesian Muslim stepfather, a communist grandfather, and a racist communist pervert as a mentor.

She marries Barack, Sr., who is a bitter, radical socialist. Then after he dumps her, she marries an Indonesian and drags her son off to Indonesia. Then sends him back to be raised by her father, who was a communist and probably a sexual pervert as well, and who brought the young Barack under the influence of Frank Marshall Davis, another communist pervert and racist.

Is it any wonder that he grew up with anti-American feelings? Is it any wonder that, by his own admission, he sought out communist professors and associated with like-minded students?

Is it any wonder that in later life, his friends were the likes of Bill Ayers and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright?

MY mind's eye DIDN'T see ..

A little kid on his fathers shoulders at a hot, 4th of July parade, doing a JohnJohn salute to the aging American Legion color guard while trying to hold a cheap American flag and a cotton candy in the other hand and not dropping them ..

A kid going OOOO and AHHHH just like everyone else around him that night at the fireworks ..

trading a peanutbutter and jelly sam'wich for a fluffernutter in the second grade ..

Going with your dad to the driver's testing center for your road test ..

Looking back now in later years, smiling and realizing you had a pretty good childhood and thank God you were born in Ameri ....

oh ... wait.

We're all a product of what was before ...

zero's a waste because the kid was a mess and should never have been anywhere NEAR an American institution except as a patient.

You would simultaneously be eliminating from consideration some of the finest Americas Ive known, and the great majority of Americans. It's better to just not vote for Democrats and other socialists.

Well, there goes Abe Lincoln (and others).

Jimmy Carter’s family was the pride of the neighborhood, even with beer-swilling Billy, and we know what a great leader he became. /s/

Some people are scarred for life as a result of difficult childhoods, some learn from the experience and grow stronger.

There is no such thing as a perfect family nor a perfect world.

True, looking at Obama’s family sends up red flags — but so does an examination of his experience and his entire life story.

He simply is not qualified for the job, regardless of childhood experience. America didn’t look or listen, because voters were mesmerized by his half-black skin and his smooth tongue.

Can we amend the constitution to outlaw stupid?

Interesting thoughts. Perhaps you are on a right track. Maybe Obama is half black, half Arabic...and just maybe ADOPTED.

Perhaps his mother found him, or something, when in Africa with Barack Sr. and took him as her own. She might have been moved to help a poor, unwanted, parent-less baby in a village somewhere. That could explain the Auntie saying she saw his birth. And could explain why there are no records of his Mom being pregnant or hospital records of her being admitted for delivery, or pictures, or anything. The family could easily have put some sort of false announcement about his birth in the paper in order to make it appear he was born in Hawaii (probably for some legal reason...like making it easier to get assistance there, or something) Then even later, the Birth Certificate was made up to cover up this issue. It could also explain why Barack has no resemblance to any parent.

My three kids grew up as ex-pats in Indonesia. They were well treated, made friends, were not mis-treated or suffered in any way because of it. I’m not saying Barry didn’t have problems, but I suspect they were more centered in Barry himself rather than being an ex-pat.

FWIW, all three kids are now back in the US, two are completing their college degrees and the other has served two terms in Iraq and is not undergoing the Q Course.

Two of the people you would exclude from the Presidency: Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan.
