Yes they are, but I’d be willing to bet they haven’t endorsed another opponent of Frank’s before.
I could be wrong since I don’t know for sure, but he’s never had a viable challenger before now so I tend to believe this could be the first time they’ve endorsed an opponent of his.

Think of all the ammo his challenger has - I remember one of his town hall meetings where he spoke quite sarcastically to those attending. I'm sure that same tone will be used in any debate.
