It makes me wonder if our troops are doing anything for the people.

They have been making good headway - valuable inroads.

But the actions of this num nut pastor has torn apart years of work.

Unlike Iraq, they are dealing with an uneducated, almost primitive people. It doesn't take much to set them off.

If we can't gather together the people and the actions that America stands for to defeat our foes - then we give the victory to those uncivilized cretins.

Keep telling yourself that. Principle is the ends in itself, even if it results in your murder, and the anihilation of your culture and your country.
When the two-legged animals are sawing your head off, or your wife's or your daughter's, keep telling youself how noble you were, standing on principle ... to a fault, to put it mildly.

Your terminal stupidity would inspire me not to move a muscle to attempt to save you.

It is OBama’s and Bloomberg’s victory mosque that stirred Muslim conflict in the US and I don’t much care for anybody blaming free speech for military outcomes. That is stupid given what the left did for eight years...we never heard that crapola out of the military before this Obama appeasement nonsense.

It sounds like Obama blaming Bush for his responsibilities and now we got the military parroting the blame shifting idiot. If this is the case, all our troops are in serious danger.

And do you really think that is ever going to change?

History has a lesson here. It was in the middle ages that Euoropeans pushed the muslims back to Africa and Asia. Years later especially in the 20th century the need for oil upset the ealier action. It wasn’t too many years ago that Europe started to lose the freedom from Islam over needs for oil among other things. The USA was slow in Islam acceptance but the oil quagmire was building as shown by the first gulf war. Along with this came the build up of muslim population and influence in the USA. A question is whether the USA and Europe can revert to years past when Muslims and Islam were not involved in their governments. It must not be forgotten that Islam is a powerful force for world expansion: to the extent these forces joined Hitler not only by reason of hatred for Jews but establishing control over lost lands.

Actually, I think I'll take a long hiatus from FR - it just isn't what it used to be. So many of the original FR'ers have given up and gone on. It seems to be devolving into a group of nattering nabobs...makes me wonder sometimes if I was on DU.

Well, us cretins are willing to entertain the possibility that we may be wrong.

Are you?

Don't let the door hit ya...

Perhaps reading a little more history, and less flexing of your ignorant synapses might be a good way to spend your time away from FR.

Good luck.

Your opinion would have meant more to me if your language wuold have been more discreet. I can sympathize with your feelings of concern for your grandson because my mother felt much the same way before and after he was killed in WWII and granted circumstaces are different. However. as an ex WWII vet myself I have a perspective that soldiers in combat conditions can really only depend on their buddies for safty. I recall stories of the Korean war where north Koreans ,adaults and children, could not be trusted once they were in back of you. I believe it is too bad our young men and women have to have their lives in danger for nation building where the nation will not and probably cannot have the same structure as our society has, allowing for a lot of garbage since WWII.

...there at least two of us in FR tonight who believe in upholding our values rather than engaging in the same ignorant acts of the barbarians ...

So to you, the burning of a Koran is as barbaric as beheading people live, burning people live, suicide bombing innocents in public places, and driving planes into buildings in order to kill people? And you congratulate yourself as more principled than most of us here because of it?

My friend, you are prideful and deluded.

Islam is the religion for the weak, dumb, cowardly, and soulless.

That’s what happens when people are so ‘narrow-minded’ about a specific belief, that all else becomes ‘secondary’ and ‘not important’ - forgetting that their blind stupidity ultimately endangers the very thing that they espouse to protect.

Such a claim can cut both ways.

Consider those who are worldly, only thinking about life before death, but not the consequences after death. Such people are grasping for things they cannot hold eternally, and lose those eternal things provided to them. Meanwhile, those who persevere on the eternal things provided to them, might surrender many a temporal thing, but have eternal rewards awaiting them.

FWIW, I perceive this is maneuver warfare being advocated by the same pagans who have inherited the Green Line and have been reaping the consequences of the Green Line Strategy of the 70s/80s.

The Green Line was a US strategy to use Islam as a natural barrier to Soviet and Communist political intrusion from Northern Asia towards warm water ports. Instead of occupying the terrain, the US promoted the empowerment if Islam with more worldly control to oppose the Soviet advance southwards.

The strategy was partially successful, combined with other maneuvering in economic and political spheres, in ultimately collapsing the USSR. An external effect has been the GWOT we witness today.

It appears the GWOT is being maneuvered now to redirect Theist faiths against one another, draining their resources, while allowing paganism to reign without respecting faith.

It wouldn’t surprise me if a large number of collateral attacks aren’t waged to counterfeit a conflict between dogmatic fundamentalists of different faiths between one another. It provides cover and feints for antichristian pagan worldly systems to advance their orders, while further attacking believers, and elevating the stature of pagan unbelievers above other unbelieving systems.

That about sums it up.

Can you imagine having to worry where your front and back face when you go to the bathroom? After urinating, men have the extra obligation to stand and make sure all the urine is out, facing the proper direction. Dribble is a religious issue, not a just a cleanliness issue. Sounds pathetic to me.

Islam is about suppression and control.

That is why they are so ignorant about everything else, their total mental capacity is used up trying to learn all the absurd rules for being a member of the cult. It would take me three months of study to get straight on how to go to the toilet, I don’t even want to think about the rules for sex, that would take years to learn.

This is an incredibly sick culture.
