That it was the American way and how we need to do this mosque to prove that to everyone, and at that moment to me he looked as if he was not approving of seperation of church and state, but lying he approved of it and our ‘way’.

ACTUALLY...If we had an AMERICAN government in office, Islam could be banned in the USA on the basis of it being a terrorist ideology that threatens Homeland Security.
Muslims could be exiled, imprisoned or executed if they continue an association with an outlawed anti-American organization and all Mosques in the USA destroyed.
The First Amendment protects only religion. Clearly an ideology with a 1,400 year track record, of murder, war, rape, terrorism, tyranny, and slavery does not merit protection under the U.S. Constitution.
