It might surprise this ignorant judge, but Congress, and not the president or the SecDef or even the CJCS, has the constitutional power to regulate the military.

DADT is a “regulating” of standards. It is not a battlefield strategic call that a “commander in chief” would have to make.

“We need to go back to the pre-DADT policy of NO homosexuals in the military.”

Maybe President Palin can change that.

“My kids asked me this weekend what jobs are good jobs to go into .
I said to two of them be judges as the right wing needs them right now.”

Oh, heavens no! The path to being a judge is being a *lawyer*. They are brainwashed in law school that it’s “ethical” to tell lies “on behalf of their clients.” IT’S NOT! God isn’t impressed with lies, and lawyers WILL ANSWER FOR THEM.

As for what jobs are good to go into, look at survival supplies retailing and survival foods production. Seriously.

And gun shop owner. Lots of regulations you have to know, but gun sales go up when times get bad. Sellers are doing very well these days.

true but my kids already have a good handle on what is what already and have been told about teachers trying to indoctrinate them.

They are only 7, 9 and nearly 13, all know about their teachers and every night we go over what their teachers told them today, whether revised history which is popular with a couple of teachers or out and out brainwashing.

Only way to get back this country is get inside.

Karl marx once told his pals that they cannot pass their agenda by being on the outside or using force they have to get into positions of power and influence.
They have been doing that for some time now, even Ayers etc knew that violence was not helping them.

Having a gun store is not as more powerful or as influential as being a judge, Lawyer, professor, running for president etc.

“I once found some Army Recruiter paperwork from the 1980s, and it actually had this question on it:

Are you a homosexual? Y/N”

I would like to add to that list:

Are you a homosexual? Y/N
Are you a Muslim? Y/N
Are you on drugs? Y/N
Are you a drunkard? Y/N
Do you sleep around? Y/N
Are you a potty mouth? Y/N
Did you vote for Obama? Y/N

Good for you!

“Having a gun store is not as more powerful or as influential as being a judge, Lawyer, professor, running for president etc.”

Very true. If you are suggesting professions of influencing the *law*, we badly need elected officials from non-law backgrounds. Most politicians are lawyers. We need business people, doctors, scientists, engineers, etc. to run for office. Running against “the system” would be a good platform to campaign on. Having a law background only means they are in the club already.

If you’re thinking of suggesting professions to influence the *mind*, I would think media. Writing, public speaking, broadcasting. Traditional journalism is on the way out, but there will always be a place for people who can get up and speak to a crowd. Look at the influence Glenn Beck had with that rally.

If I had kids the ages of yours I would get them into reading US history like crazy. Especially reading what the Founders wrote, the primary documents. The correspondence between Thomas Jefferson and Samuel Adams is wonderful. Jefferson’s writings. Washington’s writings. I would get my mind into the Founders’ minds, and then bring my kids into that.

The only way the liberals can tell their lies is because very few people have ever read what those men wrote.

I’ll bet you’ve got pretty good kids.

Thanks and good post I see your post.

I know many parents say this with a bias but every time we go oiut etc we get told it is nice to see kids with manners and how to behave in public.

all A’s honor roll students, never been in trouble with any teacher, always go to parents night which sometimes I’;m the only father.

Oldest was in the boxing state championship
Youngest has been picked to play in the best of the best in the state north east soccer and daughter is just starting to take music and learn guitar.

Most of all all of them know the dangers of indoctrination by teachers.
They know their manners and treating people how they like to be treated are important though they sometimes forget when it is to each siblings.
They know what a proper family is about and about kids who do silly things for attention or girls who do not respect themselves at my oldest sons age.

As for history, well I love history and my oldest has been picked many times to talk to the class about certain historic subjects like the founding fathers.
Right now he takes the constitution to school every day and gets it out for school, thankfully he has a great history teacher unlike last year where he had to correct her a few times respectfully.
LOL Even the intern in his class from college has said my oldest knows more than most of his college pals.

The other two are being taught off me the war for southern independence right now before they get taught it at school.

manc, I was on another thread a while back. Everyone was saying that it was hopeless, the election won’t change everything, the liberals are winning the minds of the people, and America is doomed. I countered and said that there is hope, that conservatives are winning the minds of the people, and that we are on the edge of a wonderful era in American history.

Your post proves me right.

There are many parents out there who are raising their kids right, and the next generation will be battle-hardened leaders.

America will be great again.
