Meet Imam Rauf’s Partner, Faiz Khan, 9/11 Truther
National Review Online ^ | 9/13/2010 | By Andy McCarthy

Posted on 09/13/2010 6:05:19 PM PDT by granite

Faiz Khan, a physician who claims to have been a first responder after the September 11 attacks, is a founding member of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth and is on the advisory board of the Muslims for 9/11 Truth. In an essay on the Alliance’s website, he argued that “the prime factor for the success of the criminal mission known as 9/11 did not come from the quarter known as ‘militant Islam’ although the phenomenon known as ‘militant Islamic networks’ may have played a partial role, or even a less than partial role – perhaps the role of patsy and scapegoat.”…

Khan also helped form the American Sufi Muslim Association in 1997 with Rauf, a group now known as the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA). ASMA and Rauf’s Cordoba Initiative are leading the mosque effort in lower Manhattan. Khan has led Friday prayers at the Al Farah Mosque, where Rauf is the imam, for years. That practice continued at least through December – after the mosque proposal was unveiled — when Khan was cited and photographed in an article in the German magazine Der Spiegel on the project.

Khan and Rauf also are members of the Sufi Circle, created in 2004 to promote “a Divine Love, unity and tolerance for a happy and meaningful life.” In an announcement for a pending appearance, Khan’s photograph on the Sufi site comes from this 2005 speech he gave explaining his beliefs about the 9/11 attacks. Cropped out is a sign behind Khan that reads “Expose the 9/11 Cover-Up.” In that speech, Khan claimed people he meets in the Middle East and North Africa take government responsibility for 9/11 as a given and ask what Americans don’t understand.

A new mosque opens in America every 4-5 days.

The New York mosque is getting all the attention. The real danger is all of the freedoms we enjoy are unique in human history and are the result of our Christian heritage.

Allowing a slow invasion by Islam into our nation puts all of our freedoms in jeopardy. Islam is at war with all non-Muslims. Nobody has the courage to admit this. Pres. Bush lied. Obama lies.

Find out the truth. Islam’s goal is the global Islamic state. Low birth rates, PC, western laws that allow immigration, etc. All open doors for the slow invasion.

All of the liberals who support flag burning, anti-Jesus cartoons, etc. are too scared to speak out against Islam. Free speech is over in the U.S. We are a generation away from losing the country.

“Moderate” Islam is going to be promoted from this, eh?

This should not have had to appear in the National Review - if the media did its job it would have appeared as part of an investigative report.

Let me say that not only is Mary Katherine Ham a doll but a great conservative, as she consistently trumps Juan Williams and Bill O'Reilly on the BORing show.

Note to Meghan McCain: THIS is what an intelligent conservative woman is like.

"Khan also helped form the American Sufi Muslim Association in 1997 with Rauf"

I smell some further deceit going on. Rauf and this guy call themselves "Sufi muslims, " who have (or had) a reputation of being non-violent anti-jihadists.

I'll bet in this case "sufi" is a false flag to confuse the young wide-eyed suckers down at the college.

"The New York mosque is getting all the attention. "

That's because it is not merely "a mosque" at Ground Zero. it is THE GREAT AMERICAN mosque, more expensive than any other, which makes it all the more an affront.

The media as we have known it in past decades is gone.

With the advent of notepads, etc. PRINT IS DEAD!

Until someone figures a way to market news reporting, it isn't going to happen and we will all be dependent on a relatively non-verifiable very diffuse reporter base.

I can tell you about my neighborhood ~which might be interesting from time to time, and a gazillion other guys can report on their neighborhoods, and a gigantic wallet sized super computer somewhere could synthesize bigger stories out of those reports, but somebody has to pay for it somehow for it to happen.

If they are Sufi they should remind you more of a Quaker than a Jihadi and ought probably to have some serious connections with Morocco and the areas immediately appertaining to that country. That doesn't mean they're all Moroccans but the history of the movement is pretty well tied up in Morocco.

Worth remembering Morocco and Spain have been over the last millenium ruled as a single country, either by Moslems, or by Christians, or by a combination of both. Currently they are separate countries.

I wouldn't write this guy off as a complete nut.

The preparations for the 9/11 attack began as far back as 1999.

In March of 1999 Bill Clinton began bombing the crap out of the Serbs in Kosovo.

During that operation the Clinton Administration climbed into bed with the muslim Kosovo Liberation Army.

The KLA was allied with Al Quada.

Al Quada is connected to the heroin trade out of Afghanistan.

Wonder if Marc rich has his fingers in the Caspian Sea oil trade.

Bill O’Reilly was all over tonight. Devoted more than half his show to it. I was surprised Hannity didn’t mention it.

If I’m not mistaken, Hasan al-Banna, the founder of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood and his people were all Sufis. In fact, other Salafists would refer to them as Dervishes. Also, Andrew Bostom has stated that Sufism in India was just as capable of being as militant and intolerant as any other type of Islam:
