WILMINGTON, Del. Conservative activist Christine O'Donnell earned a stunning victory in Delaware's Republican Senate primary Tuesday, riding a wave of tea party anger and advertising dollars to oust U.S. Rep. Michael Castle.
O'Donnell's shocking win gave new energy to the tea party movement, which targeted Castle after victories by Republican tea party candidates in the Alaska and Nevada Senate primaries.
With 78 percent of precincts reporting, O'Donnell had 54 percent to 46 percent for Castle, a former two-term governor and the longest serving congressman in Delaware history.

Wasn't Barry a Marxist activist before he was elected? I don't remember them ever calling him that.

I will admit to not following this race. But it appears to me that if there is no difference to having Castle instead of a Democrat, where's the downside in O'Donnell's victory. Except for one thing. If this makes the difference at some point as to which party controls the Senate, then if she loses where Castle might have won, then the Democrats would control the Senate. That's the big gamble with O'Donnell. But as far as the voting is concerned, Castle would be just like having a Democrat.
Anyway now it's critical that the GOP get behind O'Donnell. The big shots of the GOP might have to eat some crow but that's politics.

I was predicting a 5% margin for O’Donnell. Looks like I estimated low. Wow.
Now it is time to take the fight to the Democrat. No whining by Castle supporters. He threw everything he could at O’Donnell, and she still beat him. She can beat the Democrat, too.
I bet if the People of Delaware have a Conservative alternative, they will gladly take it.

Certainly Barry is the most radical leftist President this country has ever elected. He ran as a Centrist and as soon as he won off came the mask and now America is rejecting his brand of Socialism.
The media will never report on something that they colluded to make happen.

How does a candidate illegally collude with voters other than outright buying of votes?
money raised by outside agencies are supposed to not get guidance from the candidate as to the content of ads. The reason for the rule is so 527s and PACs don't become extensions of the campaign organization to get around campaign contribution limits.

“...but are all buddy-buddy and my good friend, my good buddy, my special lover with Democrats.”
That’s because the RNC establishment has been co-opted by democrats for many years. These are the same people who wanted Palin on the ticket w/ McLoser, but hated her guts and would have campaigned against her if she had been at the top of the ticket where she belonged. They only wanted her on the tickets to sure-up the conservatives before election day.

There was concern Castle might have switched parties to become a Democrat after the election if he remained in office.
We won't have to worry about that now. It was essential he be booted out and a strong message be sent to fellow RINOs.
