“but aside from Rove, whose behavior I find astonishingly and perplexingly bad, I haven’t seen any of the Republican mainstream badmouthing of O’Donnell that is being alleged.”

What about the NRSC - which despite today’s turnabout, did everything they could to knock of O’Donnell, were reluctant in their turnaround, from all we know, and tried vigorously to knock off Joe Miller (even during the clost absentee counting), and Ken Buck (supporting Jane Norton) before that.

/sarcasm on/ But other than that the GOP establishment types have been nothing but good guys! /s ;)

Pretty sad viewpoint. I saw a great interview with Rove this morning. How he supported Angle, raised over $15 million for Tea Party candidates. All he’s saying is THIS tea party candidate is no good, not all tea party candidates. But the reactionaries of some here want to paint Rove as anti-tea party or anti conservative.

Look, he knows this woman is a nut job. Couldn’t pay her mortgage, had employment issues, etc, etc. He’s right.

Polling now shows she trails by 11 points...per Rasmussen.

Guess what: She did pay her mortgage. Her words below

From http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2589816/posts

1.) My opponent claims that I owe money to the IRS. The IRS says the erroneous tax bill was a “computer error.”

During my previous campaign against then Sen. Joe Biden I was audited by the IRS - so were some of my family members and a campaign worker. (Let’s just chalk that up to a coincidence). During a long appeals process, this was supposed to have been wrapped up this past spring. Yet, in March, rather than a letter finalizing the appeals process, I received an erroneous tax lien claiming I had not responded to their previous correspondence.

The IRS admitted the letter was a mistake, issued a Certificate of Release of Federal Tax Lien on May 19, 2010 and chalked it up to a “computer error.” The remaining balance was paid in full on may 16, 2010. Please find below a copy of the letter from the appeals office assigned to my case. You will notice that it is dated just weeks before the erroneous lien and clearly demonstrates that I had been cooperating with the IRS and heading towards resolution.

2.) My home was sold in 2008. My opponent claims that I lost it in foreclosure.

Please find below the letter from CitiMortgage proving my home was privately sold in 2008 through a realtor and private mortgage company, not a public foreclosure. ...

3.) My opponent is trying to start a rumor that I am not a Delaware resident. This is simply not true.

(***Xzins - The major reason so many say “nut job” is because she led a chastity campaign (approved by just about every brand of Christianity), she opposed pornography and said it caused lust which is a sin (again supported by all Christianity and roughly the same as Jimmy Carter said years ago) and she called masturbation sin (which is based on her previous statement regarding lust being sin))***.

Yeah, but she was thinking about not pay the mortgage and her taxes. Isn’t that the same thing as lust? (maybe not as much fun.....but still it’s the thought that counts)

Yep, In The Wise One's own words: "She who looketh on a mortgage and lusteth after it in her heart is guilty of default, foreclosure, and Fannie/Freddie abuse."

Did you pay him the $199.98 for that counsel?

I went to bankruptcy court and had him represent me against himself

It caused an inter-dimensional matter/anti-matter intersection that sucked him into oblivion for an unspecified period of time.

She’s against masturbating. Well that’s a problem. :) People who say they don’t masturbate at one point or another are one thing....liars.

Actually, she said that it is accompanied by lust and that is its downside. So, yes, she’s against it.

We all pick our noses, too, but that doesn’t stop us from frowning on it in public. (Are there moral consequences to it?.....who nose? :>)

Dear jveritas,

“Let the tea party express support her.”

They seem to be doing just that.

“They would be able to raise enough money I presume.”

Looks that way.

“How much is needed for this race? 2, 3 millions dollars?”

I don't know. I know that Mr. Coons started the general election with about a million in the bank.

If it is two or three million, it appears that Ms. O'Donnell will likely raise it. Mainly from regular folks, tea partiers and their sympathizers.

As of this writing, some three days after her spectacular primary victory, she's raised about $1.7 million. She'll easily get beyond two million, and could push three million.

All without the help of the old boys and liberal elites of the Republican Party. All without the help of Mr. Castle, who won't even endorse her (By the way, why must we conservatives always have to back the liberal scum who win Republican primaries, but liberal scum "Republicans" may go their separate ways, either refusing to endorse the winner of the primary, or actually going independent AND RUNNING DIRECTLY AGAINST THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE??).

Ironically, it looks like the party, itself, will kick in at least a modest amount. Gotta hop on that bandwagon. Gotta get on the train before it leaves the station.

But let's face it, she needs the Republican Party like she needs extra holes in her head. After all, you see what happened to the Republican Party's candidate in this race. And in Alaska. And in Florida... At this point, the party needs her a bunch more than she needs them.
