Pence Thinks O'Donnell Can Win in Delaware

The key national organization in the country devoted to electing Republicans to the Senate might not be standing foursquare behind GOP Delaware Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell.

But that doesn't mean conservative Republicans are counting her out.

"I categorically reject that Christine O'Donnell cannot win in Delaware," said Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), the third-highest ranking Republican in the House. "This is a whole new world. We elected a Republican in Massachusetts."

"I categorically reject that Christine O'Donnell cannot win in Delaware,"

Hasn't he heard? Those "in the know" on Hannity and here on FR say 'she's "deeply flawed" and hasn't a snowball's chance in hell.

They're only trying to help us benighted fools understand, doncha know.

Rather than actually try to win this thing they think its much better to rend our garments and gnash our teeth that the right person wasn't nominated. /s

Just for the record, Delaware had a Senator until just recently who was a drunken loudmouth who stuck his foot in his mouth almost every time he opened it.

Let’s assume for a minute that Karl Rove is right and she doesn’t win. It won’t matter because all over the country Republicans are watching the results and thinking that they could be the next Castle if they want to play with the Democrats. People are looking at their representatives and thinking they could be the next O’Donnell. It may be a temporary loss but a huge net gain for those who believe in conservative values and not just getting along. Karl Rove used that strategy and it led to the GOP loss of all branches of government. That is the thinking of a loser. Supporting O’Donnell is the thinking of a winner and even winners don’t win them all it’s a long term strategy that will pay off if we stick to it. So Rove, the NRSC and the other naysayers can go pound sand.

GOOD! Mike gets it.

Look - Mike Pence will tell people what they want to hear. He's a good talker.

As for him "getting it", he endorsed Dan Coats in his own state over multiple conservative challengers.

Pence is learning. These stupid mosaic Repubs think all the “tea party” stuff is going to go away after the election and it will be back to “business as usual”. Are they in for a surprise? The tea party is going to watch and follow their every move. Pretty soon the good ol boys will be ready to retire. No fun when you can’t fool the sheeple.
