Michelle Obama told French first lady Carla Bruni that her life as the first lady of the United States is "hell," according to an account in a new book.
The White House declined to comment on the account, first noted by Londons Daily Mail.
In an authorized biography written by French journalists Michael Darmon and Yves Derai, Bruni recalls that during her March visit to the White House with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, she asked the first lady about her post.
Dont ask, Obama said, according to Bruni. Its hell. I cant stand it.
The book, "Carla and the Ambitious," is due out Friday and was written, in part, as a competitor to an unauthorized biography.

Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!!
And your husband is hell on us!....
I wonder if she was served rock lobster once instead of Maine lobster? For an elitist, that is hell.
Get the hell out of OUR White House then!....
F.R.’s “teachable moment” for Moosechelle.....What to do...
Damn....Two perfects and a blimp!
Dang right! Moochelle must have really p!ssed Carla off, royally! I bet Carla is smiling today.
Two beautiful and a pea brain Lard Azz
Back in the 70s, momma had a table-cloth just like Mooch’s dress.
Perhaps this is Obama's way of being only a one term President and not seeking the nomination knowing his ass is toast in two years...
"I have to make a choice... of what is best for my wife and family, or for the country. I have chosen my family at this time, letting my successor continue my Legacy of Change..."
“Damn....Two perfects and a blimp!”
Still, that’s two out of three ... and that ain’t bad!!!
I doubt that Michelle said that because it’s the kind of talk that a public figure and our First Lady especially would not engage in.
Yeh-—nothing can compare to her gig as VP of Community Relations at the Univ of Chicago Hospital making $300+/k.
Now she sacrifices with downgrades of residence and hardships of travel. Slave girl blood suffers the ever- eternal struggle against social injustices.
Maybe staying the next year in Spain would lift her spirits. But imagine her arriving back early to finding Deval Patrick’s wardrobe and makeup kit in the First Bedroom.
Rush talking about this now. Hmmm...
